Had to leave out Cosmos (Carl Sagan one), Attack on Titan, Mr Inbetween, Chernobyl, Community and Arrested Development. Thought about squeezing AD in but Lost has to go in as it’s the first show I ever really go into and even though it won’t win I have to put it down.

Op said shows must scripted but I posted Top Gear which is "scripted" though not line for line. I suppose it counts on a technicality.

Gannicus death still hurts in the show. My favourite character. He's the best fighter there I think and he's being swarmed in by the soldiers. He'd kill everyone of them 1v1 but damn he's so helpless in that moment. Yeah they handled his death well on Spartacus. Crixus was a beast too. So many amazing characters in that show.
Also when Sparatucs said a simple plan like "we split up, half go west and half east" to which Cryxus says "stop speaking in riddles brother"

I'll let it pass. I was hoping narratively scripted but I get it.

The gods have what..?

I have to revisit my list, no point including great German tv shows nobody knows about, better to do a new one or edit my old?
Yeah I think I'll edit mine to just English top 15 since that's mostly what this will be. Don't think a non English show will make it into the top 50 voting.

Sweet, I've been waiting for this. My non-English shows have pretty much no chance to advance but

  • The Bureau (Fra)
  • The Wire
  • Mad Men
  • Romanzo Criminale (It)
  • Too Old to Die Young
  • Nirvana in Fire (Chi)
  • Six Flying Dragons (Kor)
  • Gomorrah (It)
  • Twin Peaks
  • Mr. Robot
  • The Bad Kids (Chi)
  • Succession
  • Watchmen
  • Engrenages/Spiral (Fra)
  • Game of Thrones
English top 15 for voting
  • The Wire
  • Mad Men
  • Too Old to Die Young
  • Twin Peaks
  • Mr. Robot
  • Succession
  • Watchmen
  • Game of Thrones
  • The Bureau (Fra) - if the Bureau fans all vote this might make it
  • The Bear
  • Archer
  • Fargo
  • X files
  • The Americans
  • Boardwalk Empire

Shows that make my worldwide top 15
Engrenages/Spiral (Fra)
The Bad Kids (Chi)
Nirvana in Fire (Chi)
Six Flying Dragons (Kor)
Gomorrah (It)
Romanzo Criminale (It)

I did think about not including it, but it was so good I had too, just a shame season 2 was so bad.
It was so good it even made watching S2 tolerable when it really wasn't. Anybody saw S3?

Haven't seen Peaky Blinders mentioned so far, always thought it's a very good show but never checked it out.

They only did 2 seasons, agreed the first was so good, that the second was watchable.
Peaky Blinders is one of those I should watch, just never got round to it

Ah, thought you were talking about True Detective. Same thing though (but with a S3 obviously).

I found Homeland S1 perfect, even though the series became quite stale at some point - I'll have to list it. Rhys Phillips had a decent detective show (remake) where a S2 just got released. Forgot the name though

Glad to see some nods for The Expanse. Best sci-fi on TV since Star Trek was good.
