Maybe he was not trying to acheive anything special. Just speaking his mind and answering the questions asked of him truthfully.
Yea, you might be right, only thing missing was him wearing Inter shirt so he could kiss the badge as a drop mic kind of moment.

Might not make the squad.
That makes sense to me. Tuchel can't let a player crap on him and the club like this only to get back into the starting XI. He has to make sure that the rest of the players know what'll happen if they try something similar.

No problems with this.
How do you think you’ll line up? I have a rough idea of our line up but rumours are that Alisson and Firmino have Covid. Thiago is injured and Robertson suspended. There’s also a mystery third player with Covid in our squad. Not sure who.

Chelsea are better off without him. I’d be more worried about toaster toes…..
I am still in amazement that anyone would pay more than £50 for this bloke after his united spell.
Utd + inter + Chelsea = mugs

To varying degrees clearly
Some Chelsea fans still haven’t arrived at the acceptance phase of grief ……

He did well for inter and they sold him for stupid money. Hardly mugs.

We are mugs for buying him and inter are even bigger mugs for buying him after his ‘performances’ for us.
Chelsea are the ultimate mugs because they are the only ones that won’t get 75% of their money back.

Us and inter got bailed out by even bigger mugs than we were……….

A very significant number of us didn't want him back in the first place, both in 2017 and this year.

You lot hijacking us in 2017 felt almost as good as winning the league.

Who do you reckon will bail you out now?
Not many viable options as far as I can see….

Despite our finishing issues we're actually on course to outscore 3 of our 5 title winning teams.

Kai as false 9 will/should atleast keep us in the top four comfortably and most importantly we'll be good to watch most weeks.

I think you have a decent squad, a good first XI and an excellent manager. You’ll be top 4 fairly comfortably I reckon.
Was asking who you think might buy lukaku for a reasonable price when he finally pisses everyone off too much

Didn’t Tuchel say that coaching Lukaku was easier than coaching Mbappe and Neymar? After that interview, I wonder if he still feels that. If he does, then Pochettino is doing miracles at PSG.

Oh sorry my bad.

Yeah that's a big problem, I don't think we're going to get lucky in that regard :(

The way he behaved the first time (pissed off to train with Anderlect until we granted his move, which I believe he done with you guys aswell) should have been enough to never have him back under any circumstances.

Out of the starting lineup and the correct choice as well. Chelsea have an unfortunate history (well not for us anyway) of throwing the manager under the bus to accommodate the players, and while it has worked fabulously for them in the past it ain't really sustainable as there ain't as many top coaches available with a guarantee to be a hit

Roman has a severe case of trigger finger going on so tuchel could soon find himself walking on thin ice, especially seeing how having a 100 million pound asset with little to no resale value discontent and seating on the bench could be troublesome.

I hope they sack him though , as it'll provide some fun drama and one less contender for the crown .

He won Inter the title. But apparently they were really mugged. Feel free to repeat your same argument a third time.

Tuchel should drop him for Liverpool not matter the interview. His scoring record in big matches leaves much to be desired if I remember correctly.

I’ve given up on him. Unsure where Lukaku goes from here? If his head is gone he can leave.

The hiring of Lukaku is another sign that Tuchel won't be as smart as we think.
It was a grotesque mistake for which there were dozens of warning signs.

The team comes from a series of bad results and poor performances, we have the problem of injuries, the problem of 3 or 4 defenders who finish their contracts and will be negotiating with other clubs.

The month of January is terrible!
3 Premier games against Liverpool, City, and Tottenham.
3 losses and it could be the end of Tuchel.
And in the middle, there are 2 more games with Conte...

If Tuchel thinks to change something, he had better do it now, and if he's going to take risks, let him run them without Lukaku, let him die, or survive without the traitor.

The highest purchase in their history and the highest salary they've ever paid anyone since Zlatan/Eto'o. His pedigree - (Everton and WB, no disrespect to them) and the 2 seasons he had at Manchester - did not warrant that. It was an immense gamble on Inter's part to spend that kind of money on him.

The narrative that Lukaku alone made them a title-contender is ridiculous. Conte bought many players both starters and bench players (Barella, Hakimi, Eriksen, Bastoni, Perisic, Lukaku, Sensi, Vidal.. ). Most were within budget, Lukaku was not. Conte and Yang made them the best side in Italy, profiting from the decline of an aging Juventus managed by inexperienced Pirlo.

Chelsea buying him bailed them out financially, and replacing him with Dzeko and Correa doesn't seem to be a big loss goalwise. It even gives them more depth.

So alisson, Firmino, Thiago, Robertson are out, Salah, Mane out because of AFCON and one more player either matip or TAA Out?

Mendy

CHO Chalobah Silva Rudiger Alonso

Kovacic Kante

Pulisic Havertz Mount

Thats if Lukaku story of maybe missing out is true, otherwise he starts for me. Still the best striker we have, comfortably. Jorginho was rancid v Brighton so id personally rest him V Pool, as their midfield will swamp him; but not sure TT will. Pulisic i fecking hate as a wingback, it just does not work for me. Theres a few from the Brighton game who need to step up tomorrow. Alonso id start, but again fear him getting skinned to bits by their attackers. But him at LWB is better than CHO, Azpi or Pulisic

You don’t have to assume, not according to him.
In the summer before he left, Lukaku said he’s happy at inter and wished to stay at inter, that’s first sign of player doesn’t want to leave. And then Inter board already said they needed money so they needed to sell both Hakimi and Lukaku, that’s another obvious sign that Lukaku didn’t want to leave but forced to leave by inter due to their financial problem. In addition, during Lukaku first season at inter, a fan on Twitter asked him whether he will ever come back to England and he replied ‘’no’’.

So I’m not really sure what do you mean by assumption and according to him? According to him and inter board, they forced Lukaku to leave.

According to him he left because they didn’t offer him a new deal, that’s with them being in the shit financially and him still on for another 3 years on his original contract.

It wasn’t a case of Inter forcing him out, it was up to him whether to stay or leave and he chose to leave for more money, again, that’s directly from him. What you envisioned paint him in a better light but it’s not the case, according to Lukaku himself.

All that is well and good but if you are going to quote me at least make it relevant to my post.

Had a quick look at his thread on Shed end. They weren’t as fussed as I thought they’d be. I’d be fuming.
