With all those footballing greats doesnt Radebe stand out like a spare prick at a wedding?

DaMarcus Beasley, of PSV, is also playing for team Sheva. according to the PSV wbesite anyway

Yes, it is a waste of time.

They are all multi-millionaires, why don't they just stick their hands in their fecking pockets like everyone else does, instead of fecking around playing what is, in truth, a very gay and pointless football match?

It's on the box eh?

Might watch it for summat to do.

The transfer forum geeks will be having a wankfest.

What's it to you? If these players want to play a game for a good cause then let them. You uncharitable prick.

The players could have just pooled together and paid whatever this game will bring in instead.
I agree , I mean there is no competitive edge to these game, players are having a stroll in park. I don see why anybody would wanna watch it.

Actually I thought the proceeds would be going to the families of the European victims that were hit by the tsunami...

FFS it isn't as if it is a "Ronnie Needs a New Car" donation match. I'm sure most of the players involved HAVE already donated a good bit towards the relief fund. This just gets more money for relief.

The game isn't the point of the night. Also, along with ticket prices I would assume there will be areas all over the stadium where out of pocket donations will be made. Get 80,000 people in one place and there ought to be a pretty decent amount of money floating around.

Anybody knocking this is bang out of order.

live on ESPN2, 2:55 pm ET in the USA.

That's quite interesting, considering ESPN rarely televise any other European matches except a CL match.

Also, I'm surprised Gabby did not pick up a hamstring tweak after Sunday's match. ;)

cos if he didnt play he wont be able to injure Kaladze, Maldini, Shevchenko and Nesta, not forgetting accidentally injuring his own keeper Dida

Heinze knocking them all out would be quite fun indeed

Ronaldinho XI 2-1 Shevchenko XI at the mo.

Ronaldinho and Eto'o for the ROW side, Del Piero for EURO side.

Entertainment Randy lad, all in the name of entertainment. Just like Eto'o hitting the post on purpose 10 minutes ago.

Like feck he did, Eto'o is the last man to purposely miss on an open goal, he was trying to score, like he did every other time they were 4 on 1 and he was the only one being guarded...

Heinze isn't there I don't think. Good job, there hasn't been a single tackle all game, Heinze would come on and tw@ them all :smirk:

Decent to watch, Ronaldinho is without a doubt the greatest player in the world.

He's just THE greatest. Absolute top class player, Chelsea will do well to contain him next week... before they buy him in the summer :nervous:
