Don't really believe Times anymore. They stated Jose Mourinho would have 4-5 new signings at the start of last season.

Dalot and Fred?

They suggested more and higher profile names IIRC. I don't think it was ever in the works though. None of Jose's requested signings were passed bar Fred it seems - and he was a spillover from a January chase.

We had one over-priced squad player, a youth player and 3rd GK. Quite possibly the worst window in recent history.

On topic: He'd be my #1 midfielder to sign. But like the rest say, it's super unlikely.

If we sell Pogba we likely need 2 more midfielders with Saul.

If we keep Pogba I think we need 2 midfielders anyway, which makes it even less likely that we'd spend over 100m on this guy and even if we did I strongly doubt he'd come.

I like him and think we should buy him and play him and I think he will make us a better team and help us win the league again.

Hate such articles because you know its not going to happen yet there's a part of you that goes "but what if ugh, emotionally damaging. We should just sign our players now and early! I don't want a season of this.
