Rashford should play, Sancho slows it down too much on the left.
Yes better to just lose the ball quickly than waste time trying to make a pass.

We’re not. Hope that helps.I agree that we need to field a strong starting 11 but I'd still give Dubravka a first team appearance in this one. Won't get a more opportune moment than this one, if we are really looking into a competitor for De Gea.
Players absent from this trip include Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Donny van de Beek and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
They should have beaten Sociadad then?
Rashford, VDB, AWB, Martial & Dubravka not in travelling squad
TRAVEL SQUAD
Goalkeepers: De Gea, Heaton, Vitek.
Defenders: Lindelof, Maguire, Martinez, Malacia, Varane, Dalot, Shaw.
Midfielders: Fernandes, Eriksen, Fred, Casemiro, McTominay, Iqbal.
Forwards: Ronaldo, Antony, Sancho, Elanga, Garnacho, McNeill.
And Martial still out. Damn.Rashford out now too? Feck sake. I guess the suspended game has some positives.
We have very fast forward players, that are not very quick!Rashford should play, Sancho slows it down too much on the left.
Think a LB would be handy and harsh on Mctom but don't disagreeDe Gea
Dalot Varane Martinez
Casemiro Eriksen
Antony Bruno Sancho
Ronaldo
I don’t disagree with any of this, but being pragmatic, because we lost, we now have to go full strength. We have struggled against Spanish sides for over a decade no matter the side we have put out and we lost to a joke referee decision.
it's also hard to win with 10 men whilst ronaldo was practically useless and i am including the younger players like garnacho that saw this as their best opportunity to get senior football playing time
Have no confidence in Ronaldo as sad as that is. Looked like he should be collecting his pension last time out
It sure messes up things from that point of view.I feel for the squad players, this was their chance for game time to fight for a more regular spot and now they will likely have to wait for a some time now with the fixtures ahead
Think a LB would be handy and harsh on Mctom but don't disagree

Not happening, Rashford is out but otherwise I agree.Use the same team that won us the PL games, no messing around at this point after losing the first game and with all the cancellations. These guys ain't bad so we have to make sure we get the job done.
Casemeiro and Ronaldo et al can use the time off the run the bollix out of themselves in training to try to get up to speed.
So many players upfront who are very much the same, lacking presence upfront and unfortunately Ronaldo seems past it on recent showings(or maybe not fit, still his fault)Rashford, VDB, AWB, Martial & Dubravka not in travelling squad

Looking forward to this.
I hear meghan used to play football (the yankee one).I never understood why the President of FA is a Royal (Prince William). I thought that they played polo, cricket and rugby.
The game must go on.
Time to unleash Garnacho
De Gea
Dalot Maguire Martinez Shaw
Casemiro Fred
Antony Bruno Garnacho
Ronaldo
Ronaldo, Casemiro, Antony need more match fitness so they simply have to play.
If we have 2 goals cushion we can try giving some minutes to Iqbal in 2nd half.
Rest Varane, Malacia, Mctominay, Eriksen, Rashford and Sancho for PL games in the weekend.
