Nonsense, he's got superb technique
I reckon he'll become very dirty when his pace goes, though. Like Robbo did.
Robbo was dirty long before his pace went

No.Everyone hates him on here obviously.
However, if there was one player who I think could make a massive improvement to United it would be a clone of Gerrard - with a different name and aarccent!
He is superb
Ok, my mistake, Rooney doesn't get a lot of leeway from referees...come off it
Not last night he wasn't.
He was abysmal last night. Everytime he got the ball the move broke down. Aquilani looked more threatening and better on the ball in his 20min cameo than Gerrard did the whole night. He just shouted at his own players and lost the ball for 90mins.
I dont think i've seen him play worse...
Benitez should stick him on the right again and have Aquilani as the link man with Torres.
Steven Gerrard is unlikely to face any disciplinary action from the Football Association for allegedly making a two fingered gesture to referee Andre Marriner during Liverpool’s 1-0 defeat by Wigan Athletic.
The Liverpool captain’s run-in with Marriner after being booked for a foul was caught on camera but the referee saw the incident at the time and deemed it unworthy of any further punishment.
Only in the event of Marriner reconsidering his verdict would the FA be likely to intervene and with Liverpool club officials adamant that Gerrard’s gesture was neither offensive nor aimed at the referee, football’s governing body is ready to let the matter drop.
Replays suggested that Gerrard had gestured towards Marriner and mouthed an obscenity at the official after he was booked in the 81st minute of the game at the DW Stadium, following a robust challenge from behind on James McCarthy.
Good to see the Respect campaign is well and underway.
When Steven Gerrard walked away from the referee mouthing 'feck off' and flicking a V-sign towards him I held my breath in horror. He's going to get a straight red, I thought, and he will be ruled out of their visit to Old Trafford.
But of course it is Stevie Me so the ref let him go and now I hear that he's unlikely to reconsider his decision, meaning that the FA will let the matter drop, allowing Gerrard to get away without any punishment.
Normally, I would rage against the injustice which I should have learnt to accept a long time ago but this time I realized that the FA wanted to help us! Consider this: if they ban Gerrard, Liverpool would be forced to play someone else at Old Trafford, someone who might actually give a damn about the season and who doesn't act like some sulky primadonna. In our current state, that might have been disastrous.
Instead we'll get this Gerrard who barely had a kick of the ball at Wigan, a side we hit for five twice this season. Thanks FA!
I'm not saying anything.....
Its good. Because he has been a liability for them recently.
an infected groin......sounds like someone enjoyed the Asian tour a bit too much
