Agreed. We're crying out for a tricky, speedy player. Stoke are hard to break down.
Found the one guy still defending evans.everyone slating Evans - Its extremely windy and we are playing a very high line. The direct long balls are always going to be hard even if you are the best defender in the world.so cut him some slack !!
you have a point...just that Mata is so awful at it.Probably better Mata takes them as he's next to zero use in getting on the end of them.
VP is a threat, so best to have him in there. Have you seen the height and strength of the Stoke lot?
That's probably down to injuries. Every defender we have has been injured at some point so its hard to gain any continuity with the system. Let's see how they fare for a few weeks now that they are all healthy. If not for a lack of alternatives, Evans would probably not be out there. I'd rather see Blackett or McNair on the pitch. I don't know what's been going on with Jonny. I'm still not sold on the 3-5-2 either, we've looked vulnerable in every game we've played it.
We are pretty shitty. Having the ball all the time, but only passing it backwards..finally some time to get on a pc during the holidays and watch our devils! How are we doing and Happy New Year to all of you!
Not with his runsHe has. Failed his first touch every time.
Nah. Nonsense. Smalling is definitely good enough to partner Smalling. If Smalling's injured, we can always bring in Smalling. We need to find a defender to partner Smalling at the back. Neither Jones or Smalling are up to the task.
It's an internet forum, if we're losing, everyone is sh!t. Basic rule 1.I hate this shit about judging a player on one match where they're just back from injury, the same thing happened Rafael against Spurs. You're on redcafe so you're obviously an United fan an surely you watch games? Shaw was immense prior to injury and with his age looked like a bargain at £28 million.
Rooney off, Herrera on for me!
We know he's comfortable in such situations, so there's food for thought. Regardless, I'm more disappointed to see our players not attacking the ball nor throwing the body around in order to get that ball first on corners.why is van Persie not taking our corners from the right.....
facepalm.stoke are letting our defenders come forward with the ball, that being said
drop Carrick back into defence
Evans off for Herrera
Yet Smalling is playing well for the most part. For that Diouf chances he got bullied (the same as at Villa) and that has nothing to do with the wind.everyone slating Evans - Its extremely windy and we are playing a very high line. The direct long balls are always going to be hard even if you are the best defender in the world.so cut him some slack !!
Agreed. I'd keep Rooney and Van Persie on though. But yes, midfielders in midfield please.I've got a strange idea. Let's actually play a midfielder in midfield.
Herrera on for any of Falcao, Mata, RvP or Rooney. No matter who he brings off, it'll be an improvement.
Why you moaning at other people when you just made a ridiculous exaggeration, How on earth has he looked like a £28million bargain? He's hardly played which makes me question if you even watch the games?I hate this shit about judging a player on one match where they're just back from injury, the same thing happened Rafael against Spurs. You're on redcafe so you're obviously an United fan an surely you watch games? Shaw was immense prior to injury and with his age looked like a bargain at £28 million.
Geniusly built on the top of a hill apparently.Honestly the Premier League should make Stoke do something about that ground. How many games are ruined by the wind there!
Not really. This was more than classic tap inYes.
it's basic defending and he can't get it right.everyone slating Evans - Its extremely windy and we are playing a very high line. The direct long balls are always going to be hard even if you are the best defender in the world.so cut him some slack !!
Herrera for Young, Rafaeal for Evans would help our play but no way we'd lose Evans height, surely.Herrera for Evans please.
This isn't a one off.everyone slating Evans - Its extremely windy and we are playing a very high line. The direct long balls are always going to be hard even if you are the best defender in the world.so cut him some slack !!
Indeed, but there should also be an acceptance that we are gonna lose some battles, its not just our team who suffer against Stoke.Because it still shouldn't mean that stupidity from players is accepted.
