ah that time of year again
There was a tweet a while back saying he was thinking of leaving, can't remember when I saw it or who tweeted it though.I heard this from somewhere too.
Perhaps it could mean that Phelan is thinking of leaving?
Just curious: Why would Ragnick be so good? Is he better and more proven than the usual names being thrown around for DOF these past 3 years?I don’t believe this for a moment, Ed has shown to be totally incompetent to the football side of the club. This should have happened 5-7 years ago.
Saying that, Ragnick would be so good. We can only dream. Of course, if it will be someone, it will be some ex-United player getting an internship for a role they have zero experience.
I have no problem with that. I'm sure if he was brought in he would be aware he will be working with Ole anyway.Rangnick would want full control over everything. Its the reason why he had issues with AC Milan especially with Maldini.
Ole and Rangnick will work better together then Maldini and Rangnick. AC Milan have very limited funds, they are very much set in their ways and they are less open to external influences then we are. Also Ole loves young talent as wellI have no problem with that. I'm sure if he was brought in he would be aware he will be working with Ole anyway.

What?I'm looking to date Kate Upton this summer.
Probably already been said, but Schneider?
Close thread this is bullshit.
What makes you think he will be a good DOF when he's never done that role? DOF at Ajax is Overmars so bringing in VDS with no experience is not the way we should be heading.I don't think anyone really cares anymore about a DOF. As long as we are recruiting well, selling the deadwood, working towards a dedicated football philosophy and not ignoring the academy.
Woodward is doing a fine job on the financial front, so that's sorted.
Why bother with a DOF.
The only one I feel would fit in nicely is VDS, given his experience of playing with us and being CEO of Ajax
No, we won and got the Champions League. This story will be revived next time we struggle, though. So will this be happening?
This sort of leak normally would occur after missing out on UCL football. But this time it's happened when we were in a strong position to qualify.Isn't this kind of leak usually following on some bad results/news? Should we be concerned that something somewhere went wrong?
This is the back room equivalent of Sneijder.
United appoint a DoF, or Mike Ashley sells Newcastle. Which one happens first.
News flash, date 1 July 2028: Manchester United are thinking of appointing a director of football
Red Bull Leipzig is run in such a good way. They came out of nowhere and now are one of the best teams in Europe (schooled Spurs in UCL this season).Just curious: Why would Ragnick be so good? Is he better and more proven than the usual names being thrown around for DOF these past 3 years?
He left red bull so hopefully Ed taps him up.Ralf Rangnick please!
