Years from now when people are having GOAT debates, this match will be brought up as "look at what he was capable of at almost 38 years old".

Fed won't be able to get over messing up those two Championship points he had. Ah well, them's the breaks.

This match will haunt Fed for the rest of his life, blowing 1st set tb at 5-3, championship points etc...

Djokovic hang in there but Fed lost the game more than he won it.

Amazing. Can’t hate the result, despite the fact I wanted Fed to win, amazing performance in the tie breaks from Novak. Not a fan of them in a final set of a grand slam though.

Well that is over finally, crowd must be really sad, next year just allow them to bring eggs and tomatoes and make it rain at the guy, at least it would be entertaining.

He's up against a disgrace of a crowd that cheers his double faults. Do you blame him?
He does it every time things don’t go his way though.

Wimbledon prefers Federer, that’s nothing new.

It's not just the points.
94 winners (record?) - 61 UFE vs 54 winners - 52 UFE.
I can't imagine a worst final loss.

Accidental founder of Blaggstianity.
The batt on had been thrown in the best and most fearsome way. Snatched might be the word.

Federer will hate himself for all the points he missed. Djokovic I think deserved it.

Now let's get it on!

Who is the goat? I think after this Nadal is off the table

Respect for Djokovic, showed he has the biggest balls of steele in the game. Still, there is only one Maestro!

Funnily enough, even though he lost I think this game enhances his legacy, obviously not as much if he won.

The ghost of 2 match points vs Djokovic in slam returns. Amazing mental block Fed has against Djoker.

Best match of all-time?
I don't think so really. I don't think the match was great until the final set. I think quite a number of matches trump this one.

Probably the best final set though.
