Rybakina is the new Wimbledon champion.

Jabeur's concentration/confidence failed her at the vital moment. Far too many errors and Rybakena just far too strong against Jabeur as nerves kick in. Looks like Rybakena is sitting down ready to play a couple more sets. Does someone need to tell her she won

Rybakina, what an awkward lady  Looks very shy

Great comeback, her height advantage came into play as well.

I felt sorry for the ground officials desperately trying to get her to do something at the end of the match.
"Go and hug your family"
"Throw your sweat band into the crowd"
"Maybe a little dance?"
"A wave?"
"something?"
"...anything..."

The winning lady is clearly not used to display her inner self, which is a slap in the face of Wimbledon’s hyperboles, superlatives and gloss. We will surely be luckier tomorrow, from that perspective. :wenger:

Yep. She had her game face on and it worked great for her all match. It was just funny to see it after it was over, as if hadn't been part of the game plan for that to happen

As the top comment notes it seems she was shocked rather than being cold

Alfie Hewett 4 - 1 up and serving in the final set of the Wheelchair Tennis final. Was two shots away in the second set but was pulled back.

I think Djokovic will take this in 4 sets but if Nick can stay focussed for the whole match, he can win.

Unlike Sinner and Norrie, Kyrgios' serve can help make him keep it close which those guys just weren't able to do.

I think we'll get one or two tiebreaks and in the big moments Djokovic will prove decisive but Nick definitely has a real shot.

Nick seems to be in the mood for clowning, this might be a straight sets beat down.

Novak's lack of power and serve could cost him here. Nick will always trouble his serve, but he will have 2 or 3 such chances on Nick's serve in whole match I reckon.

He doesn't even need that. If he can take sets to a tiebreak, he'll likely hold his nerve better, similar to the match against Federer where he didn't really trouble him on return service games in 2019.

Everything points to a Novak win at this point. You have one of the most unstable and erratic players in Tennis going up against the goat of mental toughness. Anything short of Novak winning this would therefore be a massive shock.

He didn't get the early break of serve but Djokovic is reading Kyrgios' serve now and getting his returns in deep.

Kyrgios needs to calm down and start serving better and hold serve comfortably.
