And he's broken again.

Was hoping this would be a long game. Cilic is running away with it.

Cilic is playing at peak level, he's unstoppable. His relentless ball striking is Safin-esque.

Nishikori is just too weak for Cilic. god knows how he beat Djokovic.
Nah, at the moment in current form a lot of players would struggle against Cilic. He's playing really well.

This weak Nishikori has a better h2h record against Cilic in the past.

Combination of Cilic being far too powerful and Nisikori being fecked after his difficult run to the final.

This will be over in 3.

Cilic is only 25 - always thought he was much older than that. He has been around for as long as i can remember from following Tennis.

When did he turn Pro then? At 13?

I thought he was about 28 or something to be honest. I think it's because he's quite well known in Britain because he's always done well on the grass both at Queens and Wimbledon and has had several matches against Murray on the surface.

£200 won from a £10 bet.

And I am happy for Cilic after the last year or so.

What power, what a match!

Congrats Marin! I'm so glad for him! :)

I think half the country stayed up to watch it and it payed out.

Apparently Federer put on quite a clinic today in dispatching Djokovic. It's tiresome debating who the best ever is, but he's definitely my favourite ever. Need to enjoy him while we can.

Really pleased for Fed. To be winning tournaments and making slam finals at 33(?) is a great effort. Wish he had been able to win Wimbledon. I have a question for everyone, will Murray get back to his pre-back injury form? He seems to be stuck at this level and not really progressing to where he was.

I really want Dimitrow to be the next big thing in tennis.

As much as I like Dimitrow, I'm very pleased that Federer is still going strong in Basel. Now against Karlovic.

Has anybody seen Coric - Nadal?

I watched the first set. obviously, I'm happy for Borna and it's always a special thing when you beat Nadal, regardless of his form. I wanted to say that this win is comparable to Mario Ancic's win against Federer in 2002., but this is even bigger achievement. it's also quite obvious that Nadal isn't fit at the moment and he won't be playing in London. as for Borna, he will play against Goffin in semifinal and we could even have two Croatians in the final if Karlovic beat Federer. that's pretty unlikely, though... in any case, it's a huge confidence boost for Borna and we'll need him in that mood against Serbia in march.

What a great match between Murray and Robredo (3-6 7-6 7-6)

It was also the longest ATP final in 2014 with 3 hours and 20 minutes

:lol::lol::lol:

3 titles in 5 weeks for Murray....he really should now qualify for London

 that's a great video, if I was Robredo I'd feel the exact same way, he had 5 match points against Murray in a final last month and couldn't put him away either.

Raonic should really have won that second set. Some great stuff from Roger in the first though.

Murray needs to win in 2 to qualify. If he does that, not only will he qualify, but top the group and thus avoid Djoker in semis.

Serve is as bad as I've seen it in years, if not ever before. Andy needs to can Mauresmo and bring in somebody that can sort it out over the close season.
