Absolutely awful.
It’s 88 I think.
I bloody love it. It’s definitely a guilty pleasure of mine. It’s one of those film I probably know 50% of the dialogue too, yet I can’t remember half of what I did last week!
A few exceptions aside, they're all pretty terrible now. That said, I still kinda enjoy crap like Blade, Face/Off, The Fugitive, Total Recall, Cliffhanger and True Lies.
Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat are essential viewing.
Wild Wild West. Absolutely shite but had me at the edge of my seat.
Raul Julia & Kylie Minogue. Legends.
By a few days. The joint last film released in the 80's

I watched Lionheart the other night, classic Van Damme
It starts off with Van Damme being in the french foreign legion and told his brother is sick but he's not allowed to leave to visit him. Van Damme then proceeds to kick the living shite out of everyone and escapes back to the US on a tramp steamer.
It doesn't get anymore terrible and 90s than this...

Bloodsport has terrible acting but good action.
It is highly entertaining, no doubt about that. I wouldn't call it great cinema though

But you are of course right, its not at all great cinema and maybe the perfect film for this thread actually.
Demolition Man immediately came to mind, but as thats been mentioned, i'll go with Daylight... a terrible Stallone classic that I must have rented about 20 times when I was a kid.

The Rock and ConAir are legit good/great movies... certainly not terrible. Out of that Nic Cage trilogy I'd only say Face/Off goes into the terrible but great territory.

Totally agree! The cast is great as well - Cage, Cusack, Malkovich, Buscemi, Trejo. Classic 90's!
All Jean Claude van Damme movies. All Kickboxer sequels. The undisputed Franchise (ok fine that's not the 90s).
Cliffhanger, Rock, Broken Arrow are all awesome movies.
Double Impact, JCVD 1991 classic. Plus Bolo Yuen.

Speaking of cheesy action films with rappers in, Survivviing the Game with Ice-T. He's homeless, gets given as a job as a guide/assistant for rich hunters only to find out they're hunting him down in the forest. Could throw in Jonny Mnemonic as another of his. Matrix vibes to that one because it's cyberpunk with Keanu Reeves in it.
Best soundtrack ever.
