For the next picks, I will take 12-16 hours to submit my pick so that everybody will be happy :)

It will be interesting to see which players we are both eyeing up in this timeline. I have created three teams so I won't be devastated if you pick someone I'm after.

Good choice. He was one of my options but I went for Zidane first as there are lots of strikers in my timeline.

Three teams is a little excessive. I have an overall idea but it could go under if the wrong players are picked. It's odd to see great depth in one position and almost no-one in others.

Believe me, three teams isn't excessive; especially in this draft. I'm expecting to have to pick some 4th, 5th or 6th choices in the final few positions.
 
Hmm... I wonder who Tuppet is going to pick...? Such a difficult decision! (It isn't)

How many players does your squad need btw?

And when it's 'matchday' we select 11 players from that team, can we just use the same 11 over and over again?
 
The 40s is a great period, I recall the first round of the 40s draft being filled with some top notch greats.

Yeah it is. Probably the best period packed with GOAT level players or close to it. Doesn't overlap with most managers as well.

In hindsight 42-47 was probably the best pool but wanted Pele and some lads born in 1940 as most likely in the first 3-4 picks most great forwards would be gone.
