How do these run successful businesses?!

He will have picked who he wants as winner based on who's business plan will make him most money unless they're a complete shambles

I'm going with owner of the sustainable company "as its relevant"

Not everyone who runs a successful business does it without fecking over their employees, customers and being general shithouses. In fact, I'd argue that there's about three whole people in the world with successful businesses that have managed to do it without literally drinking children's blood.

How the hell did the guy who designed the logo survive. That caused the downfall of the entire task.

Don’t think I’ll enjoy this season. There’s always a couple of interesting characters at least but this lot are dull as dishwater.

Indeed. Kicked out Harry because he doesn't like people who interrupt. He was trying to prevent that logo!

I preferred it when he picked them to work for him, as it meant it wasn't mostly influenced by who had a business that would make him the most money

They should do interviews early on I could imagine they'd be priceless

This however, has to be the best moment from the show in previous years - Simon and the Bouncer.

Disagree massively with that firing. The logo was absolutely awful and for me the main failure of that task. Akeem should have gone.

This was the funniest moment for me -

Ah the green screen
I died at that.

For apparently successful people, they ain't half thick as pig shit.
Not putting the name on the logo is just...such a fundamental error. Ridiculous that you can miss out on something like that and NOT get fired. Completely the wrong decision. Strong case for all three getting fired, as they were varying shades of shit.

It's been awful for a long time now, not sure why I keep coming back.

Couldn't be more obvious the firings are based on the business case rather than the fault of the task. The contestants they pick and they way they cut it is more reality tv like every year.

There was more than enough arguments and 'drama' when they had credible candidates on there. They don't need to push for it, the tasks themselves will be able to cause friction.

Thinking up of my next genius thread
Currently watching it right now, thinking about an advert I thought about this:
A priest flying down to the ship from a skydive, catching a beverage on landing James bond esque, going into a casino where he bets all in on a poker hand which he has 2 aces, then it zooms out to a panorama of the ship with him over the top saying holy ship this is a good cruise.

Edit: the name of the cruise is "Abseastance doesn't work" (so come on our cruise)

I wonder how badly the experts cringe when they’re shown the advert/logo. They’re probably used to top quality pitches but are given a year 6 school project to ask questions about.

I still can’t get over the logo.

Doesn't alcohol dehydrate you, and the last thing you want to do when you're dehydrated is consume protein?
I don’t think it’d be aimed at your ‘let’s go get shit faced and wake up fecked’ types. I imagine it’s aimed at the gym conscious folk that want to be able to go out for a drink more often whilst hitting their macros and not killing their diet/gym journey. This is all off the top of my head mind you, I don’t actually know anything of the business proposal other than what gb said so I could be way wide of the mark.

I'm not into business but who on earth would deliver that ridiculous logo?

Literally each year it's new levels of thickness. The girls were garbage too.

Both teams were shocking... the boy's logo was abysmal and the girl's logo didn't fit with their crap name at all.

Harry might have got a slightly raw deal in being booted first, but how many years has this show been going? He should know by now that being loud and argumentative in the board room at the end always goes down badly. I think Akeem survived by basically keeping his mouth shut.

Harry was a moaner but also was right in what he was saying. Akeem should have got fired for that shocking logo and no brand name.
the PM guy I don’t like, he’s full of himself and quick to throw others under the bus. I suspect anger management issues when things dont go his way

He could have fired all of them with no controversy. They were all brutally bad.

The whole show is rigged anyway but fook me that was cringe factor 10000 last night.
Hard to watch. The PM on the hens team came across as a grade A cnuty bitch

Ridiculous firing
Just watched the first episode on iPlayer. Seeing Harry fired means I won't be tuning in again. Far too scripted and based off only the business plans. Akeem is going to banana shit his way through to the interviews quite obviously, so, yawn.

I know it’s reality TV so everything is exaggerated but the ‘arrogant asshole with nothing to show for it’ trope is so played out on this show now. I miss when the contestants were genuine :(
