The Thick Of It, one where they visit the factory (I think its S02E01?)

Great series - I especially like the two parter when Tucker gets fired and then comes back

Some great mentions so far.

I would add:

Are you right there Father Ted and Cigarettes, Alcohol & Rollerblading - Father Ted
The one where Opie fights in Prison - Sons of Anarchy
Booze Cruise, Casino Night and The Job Part 2 - American Office
Christmas Special - The UK Office
Almost any Episode from the Wire
Old Scores - Slow Horses
Finale of Mr Inbetween
Palestinian Chicken - Curb
My Screw Up and My Fallen Idol - Scrubs
Family Meeting - The Shield
Finale of Ozarks
The Black Widow and Schadenfreude - Boston Legal
Just got done with Mr. Inbetween about an hour ago. The finale was perfect.

‘The Son’ - Friday Night Lights

e - I take that back. Having just rewatched it, the first episode (‘Pilot’) of the series is the best FNL episode.

Ugh I'm annoyed with myself for forgetting this.
I remember watching it with my brother and we stayed quiet for a good hour or so to digest what we witnessed. The second and third seasons of the show are TV perfection.

Absolutely love "The Psychiatrist" episode of Fawlty Towers. Most of the 12 episodes are great, but really think this one is the ultimate and is probably my favourite episode of any sitcom. Absolute chaos from beginning to end, and yet every moment of it is pretty much perfectly executed.

At a much more gentle pace, I also really love "My Coffee With Niles" - the final episode of Frasier's first series. It's a really clever half hour with them sat at Cafe Nervosa the whole time, mostly talking about the first year of Frasier's return to Seattle - their dad moving in with him, getting his job as a radio psychiatrist, etc. Very clever episode with great dialogue combining witty humour with some poignant moments.

The second to last episode of The Americans, 'Jennings, Elisabeth' is absolutely brilliant.
Paige calling her mother a whore, Philip realizing he's been made,. It all comes crashing down.
I loved the Americans but didn't like the last season that much.

Currently watching the monorail episode of The Simpsons.

In terms of perfectly achieving what it sets out to do, it’s perfect.

Fantastic mentions out there.

I'll add one "Work Outing" from the IT Crowd as well. Act 1 makes the perfect setup while Acts two and three are increasingly and relentlessly hilarious.

Probably Ozymandias. I thought To'hajiilee was a standout aswell, but I did watch them back to back.

Maybe The Laws of Gods and Men - Tyrion's trial speech is my favourite Game of Thrones moment and the entire sequence leading up to it is superb.

There's also Scrubs' My Fallen Idol, with a similarly stirring scene at the end. But no-one will agree.

I was going to ask what people would put forward for the simpsons but think you have nailed it. Great episode. That or you only move twice.

Winds of Winter from Game of Thrones would be my favorite. There are too many great episodes in that show that I would have in top 5 - top 10.

Ozymandias or whatever is called from Breaking Bad was also pretty much perfection.

I also loved Exodus in Battlestar Galactica.

Good shout. Criminally underrated series, especially the first season which is almost perfect from start to finish (albeit IMO the show falls in quality sharply after that but still remains somewhat decent).

For my money, it's gotta be Mizumono Hannibal S2 finale. Probably the best 1 hour of film i've watched of anything.

Most of my choices in the dramas have already been mentioned, so I'll go for a comedy instead.

The D.E.N.N.I.S. System - It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Mac & Dennis Move to the Suburbs - It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

There's too many Peep Show episodes to mention.
