No New Republic show is comingTheres another 7 or 8 shows due to launch. I agree its abit too much. However I am looking forward to the Sith specific series, "Dark Acolyte" I think it is. Also would love a Old Republic series, but New Republic is as close as we'll get to that.
That is the Andor seriesI was wondering myself, can't remember if it was this or Obi Wan Kenobi. Never bothered to make the short drive from Lancaster to check it out myself either.

See the Boba Fett Doc on Disney for your answers. Was this the one they shot in Cleveley's (near Blackpool)? There was a lot of local who-har and people kept telling me to go check out how they'd set up the prom but I never bothered (cool story I know).
I never understood where his reputation came from in the first place. All I recall from the Original Trilogy was him giving up the high-ground and jet-packing straight into Luke for a casual merking.
My mistake should have said High Republic which is when Acolyte is set 200 years before Phantom Menance. No New Republic show is coming
Ah yeah, that's better haha.My mistake should have said High Republic which is when Acolyte is set 200 years before Phantom Menance.
It really was, loving the show so far.Damn. That was fantastic.
I was thinking they could have trimmed that a little too at first. But then I really appreciated the level of depth they tried to give the Tuskan raiders and make them more than the cannon fodder, barbarians they were in all other depictions. Customs, traditions, family I thought it was nice in the end. Especially when he was like you shouldn't have to hide and be seen as lesser just because these outsiders have technologyIt really was, loving the show so far.
Although the end might have dragged in a little. 10 minute sequence just to say he got a stick and is now an honorary Sand Person
Is it though? I've watched it and I'm not that sure. While it's nice to look at and not in any way bad, I keep wondering what the point of it is? I can't help thinking that they haven't learned their lesson about destroying the mystique of their most iconic characters with the likes of the prequel trilogy, the (somehow even worse) sequels and now, possibly, this. It’s really really good.
He seem to be keenly aware of that himself according to his interview for The Rolling Stone. Is it though? I've watched it and I'm not that sure. Morrison just doesn't have the chops or gravitas to carry this, and I don't think him essentially playing a bit part in a film 20 years ago is good enough justification for his casting here. Continuity be damned.

That was Andor! Which is a Rogue One prequel show. Was this the one they shot in Cleveley's (near Blackpool)? There was a lot of local who-har and people kept telling me to go check out how they'd set up the prom but I never bothered (cool story I know).
I rewatched it and now I agree. I actually love what they have done with the Sand People, and not just the men but the women and children tooI was thinking they could have trimmed that a little too at first. The elephant has been playing in that band since 1977. He's first generation punk.I find the writing a bit off. Or maybe I'm just not expecting it to be silly.
Also it feels a little bit like simple RPG quests. Boba and his gang go to the mayor. "Did you try to assassinate me?". "No, but maybe think about who did. Go to this place and see what's up". They go to that place. "The mayor send me here".
I'm not completely down with all the alien races' looks yet. The elephant in the band looks ridiculous.
Y'all better not be chatting shit about my boy Max Rebo.I find the writing a bit off. Or maybe I'm just not expecting it to be silly.

Black Karssen is awesome and ruthless in the comics. Really hope we see him fighting in this series.Just found out that Boba knows that wookie guy from the comics. How awesome did that wookie look?!
Max is great!Y'all better not be chatting shit about my boy Max Rebo.
The bikes were a bit too shiny and new for broke peopleGood episode. The flashbacks connecting to the present day events & using the Pyke syndicate as a legitimate threat to his rule was a nice development. Not about the biker gang yet though.
Exactly, wtf?!?Those shiny bikes
Couldn't disagree more, for me it has been too notch. Only issue I have is that the power ranger bikes didn't fit the show or environment.Bar the 1st 10 minutes of the first episode, I think this series has been pants so far. Ending of the 3rd will hopefully kickstart it for me.
I see it's been highly rated here, perhaps I will give them a rewatch and get back to you, as I've watched all 3 late at night and admittedly with not 100% focus.Couldn't disagree more, for me it has been too notch. Out of interest, what was you looking for from the show that would have made it deliver?
