And then we obviously have the staff leak from last week about his agent which came at a time when Murtough and co were maybe under the spotlight too.

We need the new ownership asap and we need for them to be fully committed to getting everyone out the door that needs to be shifted.

Absolutely toxic to carry players we publicly wanted to get rid off. The effort shown by McTominay on Wednesday a clear example.

I can’t even recall much harsh criticism coming from ETH? Just being straight as far as I can tell, and the most damning would be his criticism of Sancho, but that seems to be above board with his track record.

Whoever these moaners are, they should find a nice cushy club with no expectations.

We don't know what he's telling the players in the dressing room.

Well, it hasn't taken them long...Keano was right, players have let down managers at every turn and that's the leaks already coming. It's so bloody tiresome.

I'd be less worried about the leaks and more concerned about the same symptoms manifesting themselves on the pitch. The bigger problem is how we seem to crumble after the first setback pretty consistently. It doesn't seem there's much collective belief and conviction in what we are currently trying to do.

Holy shit our squad are a pathetic bunch of little brats.

as usual this will end with the manager going when in reality we need a massive clear out. Shame.

It's clearly now only a matter of time before he's sacked. A continuous pattern at this club.

So players who are constantly playing crap are getting tired of being told they are playing crap and some players don't think they should carry out tactical instructions - poor little babies.

Joking apart, the one about tactical roles without Antony can only be McT and the role he was asked to do against Brighton? I can't think of anyone else over the two games that could have that view. Has he given himself away as the leak? He should feel lucky he is even in the squad.

Could just be Sancho stirring shit with his mates... but yeah, leaks like this are never a good sign /always the start.

However I do think he has enough of his own players in there who will probably back him

It's starting if any truth to the leaks, if the losing streak continues we may seem him go.

Doom and gloom the club and last few weeks.

Fair, it could be that. Though with the recent Sancho nonsense my mind was primed to think this was about public criticism.

I’m not inclined to give our squad the benefit of the doubt, though. Ajax players didn’t seem to have a hard time when he was managing them with great success. Meanwhile this club has had players put their thumb on the scale and influence the last days of a manager’s tenure here. I’d rather us back the manager than give in to player power.

We need to string a winning run together. That's usually the remedy for all the shit stirring in the media.

Great, these sort of news are usually followed by a winter window with no activity, in preparation for a new manager in the summer. Fantastic. Yet another season where we just don't fix anything.

A) If the players are tired of criticism, imagine how tired we are of them playing crap. If they don't want to be criticized then play better. It's not even a tactical issue when they aren't tracking their runners, not pressing and misplacing simple passes.

B) Whoever is leaking these stories should be gotten rid of. None of our players are good enough or have earned enough credit to be worth keeping around if they are going to continue being a disruptive presence.

Until this info appears in a publication with any semblance of credibility then I think we can close the thread and move on.

Always feels like the beginning of the end when stuff like this happens. Problem is, there's that many potential culprits for leaks that it's hard to weed them out. We just keep going round in circles.

We are Chelsea of last season. Been repeated a million and one times, this shit all flows down from toxic owners.

Toxic dickhead owners who give zero fecks about football -> no structures in place to ensure footballing alignment across year groups -> shit facilities that haven't been updated since being built 20+ years ago -> insane contracts handed out to our first team players (genuinely have no idea how much our reserves are paid, would be interesting to know) because we are the David Brent of football* -> a first team that is easily demoralised because feck it why should they care, they're paid obscene amounts no matter and probably look at their mates at other clubs and think they may have better facilities and structure, but we're on £300k -> football leaks and undermining of any manager that tries to get them wise up.

We are fecked until the Glazers piss off or Ten Hag somehow pulls a rabbit out of the hat.

*"Does a struggling salesman turn up on a bicycle? No he turns up in a newer car - perception, yeah?" - Man Utd circa 2013-present.

It's the common denominators from the Jose and Ole reign who have to be the suspects here. Too much of a recurring theme.

Luckhurst hasn't got any sources left, he was found to be wrong time and time again. I'd actually recommend a total ban of him on this forum.

Honestly time for United fans to turn on "Journalists" and Media Organisation's who peddle crap about the club by unfollowing them or clicking on links/stories

This is when the board need so stand firm and back the manager. These fecking snakes need to be weeded out and removed from the club as soon as possible before the rot really sets in. If these useless cnuts get their way yet again then this vicious cycle will continue, as soon as any manager calls them out for their piss poor performances they’ll know they can just down tools and throw the manager under the bus. It cannot keep happening.

That’s cool and all but it doesn’t mean the story isn’t true. You have literally no idea what sources he has so don’t talk nonsense.

This says more about Luckhurst than Ten Hag. The only information he tends to get is from the moaners, so not taking much stock in this.
