He was a very complete player but I wouldn't have him leading the line as a target man who can hold it up or go solo ala Diego Costa (to name an ineligible player). I suppose he could because he was physical, aggressive, a great header of the ball and had a powerful shot from range. The fact is though that his greatest asset was still his movement, his poacher instinct to be in the right place at the right time and how clinical he was, like Ruud or BornOffside.
I think a second striker isn't needed, what is needed is the movement and threat around him which creates the opportunities for him to exploit by simply being there first like a Chicharito or a Müller does. A trident with inside forwards or tricky wingers who can cut inside and wreak havoc is what I would go for and what I deployed when I had him in the 50s draft.
