Joshua's parting shot about Rocky Marciano better than any shot he threw at Usyk tonight. Embarrassing. What an idiot.

I’m gutted now, I turned it off after the winner was announced. What did AJ actually do ?

 really? How are people this bothered and angered by it. That was hilarious.
Not sure it was funny, more cringeworthy and a little concerning. Not something to get riled up about mind you

If I was Joshua I'd call it, he's got his money no need for more head Trauma. WWE would actually be a good shout, he's always had good speaking skills.

No-one is ever beating Usyk on points.

A mauling, brawling, leaning Fury using dirty tricks or a rejuvenated Wilder detonating his right hand would pose a greater threat than AJ. On the other hand, Usyk may have a plan for them, too.

That's AJ done.

Joshua doesn't have anywhere to go from here, does he?

Think he's had a good career, started boxing late at 18, championship after a few fights, unified and took risks. He's goes down in history as one of the best British champions.

I mean give me an interview like that after every boxing match. Open mic and let them rip... I'm here for it!

Joshua cuts a WWE style promo in the ring after losing. Minutes later Deontay Wilder's theme music pops and he's running into the ring with his Money in the Bank briefcase. Wilder still loses mind because he's a bum but it was great entertainment.

If he has two decent fights after this he could in theory challenge the winner of usyk/Fury

His eyes when he was talking about Fury. He'd be a scary motherfecker to bump into on a dark night.

What were they talking to each other? Something about speed and strenght?

Pretty sure AJ was shouting at him saying “how did you beat me, you’re not skilled, I’m stronger etc”. That was even more strange than when he grabbed the mic.

He must be concussed, I have no idea why they let him have the mic like that.

I hope they make the undisputed fight with Fury. He can retire after that.

Agreed the HW division is the easiest to rejuvenate but I remember the interview AJ did with Gary Neville I don't think he has the desire to stick around in boxing and he was saying this while being the champion.

Yeah, i heard that too. So confusing

Fury vs Joshua would still be the biggest fight in British history, but it is unlikely to happen anytime soon. Fury would want the lion’s share and Joshua wouldn’t swallow his pride for a likely loss.

Could see Joshua v Wilder maybe, but otherwise he’s better off retiring. Don’t think the clamour is there for one other last home fight either. He’s eroded a lot of support in recent years.

To be fair he didn’t, he said “skills matter more. Look at you, you’re not strong, look at me” then went and did whatever the feck that was with the mic.

I think AJ was actually saying "how did you beat me" rhetorically, and suggesting it was because of skill, and they had some disagreement about exactly why Usyk beat him.

I don't think he was being bitter. At least from what I could gather, it's hard to say given how weird AJ acted.

He said "It isn't about strength, it's skill. You are not strong and you beat me. How did that happen?"

He was basically making the point he tried to make about him not being that level of boxer. The same thing he was saying about not throwing combos like Marciano, seemed to sound like he thought that was a good thing for him. Not sure why but I will put it down to being in a high pressure situation and the adrenaline ect.
