Fair play to them both for getting in the ring as it takes a lot of balls. From what I hear it was a good entertaining scrap. What annoys me is how it can be considered "box office" and sell out arenas. Let's be honest, if not for their dads, would this even happen? It's roberry from Hearn and co. Like the YouTube fights.

Robbery? They offered a product and it provided great value for money for those who happily paid for it.

Who was robbed?

Their product is way overpriced. The public deserve so much better for PPV. Especially when everything is a lot more expensive these days and you have to be more careful with money.

It was a bargain. Hours of entertainment for £20.

I don't feel robbed and I reckon very few of the hundreds of thousands of other people who will have paid for it will feel robbed either.

Fair enough. I am probably being over the top with it, I am annoyed at the last decade or so in boxing with the "fake boxer" fights. Benn & Eubank are actual boxers so it's slightly different, but all the same I feel like it's not right that they get a PPV event, they're not at that level IMO. If they get to that level fair enough, but they have to do a lot more, especially Benn. Imagine you are working putting everything in your career as a young boxer and you see these YouTubers just wander in and taking the top purses? Or Benn & Eubank getting the PPV because of who their dads are? I'll say it again, they would never be getting this if not for their dads.

Well, I’m an IPTV larker so PPV or not doesn’t ever register in my mind

Happy days then. Like I said it sounded like an entertaining scrap so if you're getting it for free or on the cheap no complaints!
I also get United for free…..though I’m not sure that’s a blessing any more

I'm kinda annoyed Parker v Dubios didnt happen. That was an intriguing fight for me

Dubois is such an uninspiring character.

He is but there is also something quite fascinating about such an absolute monster being this soft spoken and seemingly shy lad.

I find it quite endearing in a way. He just needs to be himself though, the whole shoving thing does not suit him in the slightest.

That's fair, and I agree regarding the shove stuff. Felt unnatural.

In the nicest way possible I think it’s more down to him not being all that clever.

For me he’s the most hilarious person in boxing right now and it’s brilliant to see. A genuine guy that’s an absolute powerhouse that’s developed before our eyes into a really good fighter. I think he lacks a bit of the brain at times in his fights but he’s got better with that over time which has got him to the top. For me I stick by Usyk cheated when they first fought and Dubois was robbed, which I’m sure some disagree with. I think we will see a very different fight this time around and would love to see Dubois do what Fury and Joshua couldn’t.

It's been discussed to death, and whether you believe the blow was low or not, people who side with Dubois always seem to dismiss the fact Usyk most likely gets up and gets on with it if the ref doesn't call it a low blow.

Not convinced of that. I think he was genuinely caught and hurt. If he gets up then Dubois swarms him and possibly finishes the fight. Maybe Usyk does go on to win that fight but we’ll never know and for me it just didn’t sit right at all.

This is a good insight:

Well we do know because Usyk did go on to win the fight. Of course he doesn't get the 5 minute break, but it was a body shot so he wouldn't have been dazed or on unsteady legs if and when he got up, swarming him doesn't do much in that situation and Usyk hasn't exactly shown us he has quit in him thus far.

Obviously we don’t know though do we because he said it was a low blow and the referee decided to give him five minutes to recover from it. Had the referee not deemed it a low blow he wouldn’t have had the time to recover, so no, we have no clue what would have happened.

Of course, but the same goes for you stating "If he gets up then Dubois swarms him and possibly finishes the fight". Both are hypothetical scenarios if the ref went with a 10 count, but what we do know is that when the fight did resume, Usyk stopped Dubois.

Ryan Garcia losing and Haney putting in a below par performance has killed the appetite for a rematch. It'll still happen eventually but man, these two are really doing their best to not make a lot of money

Apparently there was boxing on last night…..

Terrible card. Hideously low output in the Haney-Ramirez fight as Devin stunk up the joint only to bettered by even fewer punches thrown between Garcia and Rolly. Only Teofimo comes out of that event with any credit whatsoever.

Nice idea doing it in Times Square but I don't think it worked at all. Hopefully the concentrate on just putting great fights and great cards together in places where there's actual atmosphere and stay away from these gimmick locations.

Have any of these big fights this weekend ended by KO/stoppage?

So Bakole controversially drew against Efe where the consensus was he should have lost. Seems his aura is up in smoke at this point.

Just watched Inoue's highlights. I didn't actually think Cardenas was out on his feet. The ref stopped it too early.
Inoue was obviously dominating but Cardenas was still ducking most punches even though he was trapped in the corner and evidently gassed.
