1.6 last 5 season average for Damien is absolutely filthy!
The only way is down from here :( seriously though after the first 6-8 games I thought the 9th "worst finish" record was under threat. If you can get a top striker/goalscorer you definitely have a shot. Mbappe, Lewandowski, Kane - all the league winners had someone smashing the scoring charts.

You might need to put Sterling there but then you're in the awkward situation of not having a 91+ winger, though I'm sure it won't be long until Gakpo is there.. and then there's the issue of David's lack of versatility and Sterling probably going to continue to go down in rating with the way Chelsea are... tough situation.
37 league games later. Christ.

Congratulations to @JB7 on winning the league with Everton, @Varun for winning the Shield with Aston Villa and @Green_Red for winning the Cup with Southampton.

Weird that pretty much all of the clubs with 1 trophy (bar Bolton) won the Cup.

Two trophies left up for grabs this season.

SMFA Cup Final
(47) Manchester United v Eintracht Frankfurt (N/A)

SMFA Shield Final
(0) Leyton Orient v Cardiff City (4)

Cardiff City have won the SMFA Shield twice before and are rapidly closing in on Newcastle's record. Manchester United have won just the 12 SMFA Cups.

Can't believe you're still playing the same league 12 years on.
An insane stat is that we are just 101 league games behind the total number of games in the Premier League. In the Prem there have been six teams who have played every season, in our league there have just been four teams who have been in the top flight all 29 seasons. I'm posting the full all-time table after tomorrow's loss to Fulham, and just like the real Premier League there's a team in the top 7 on all-time points with a negative goal difference.

RedSky and The Stain have seen a preview of the table and didn't comment, swines.

What a shit season
yKpadzX.png

14 points ahead of fifth, they turn it around and finish 18 points ahead of you winning the title in the process. Ah well. Middlesbrough had an impressive turnaround too and could have finished fifth if they hadn't lost the last three games.

In the remaining 21 matches of the season your record was Won: 5, Drawn: 6, Lost: 10, Goals Scored: 22, Goals Conceded: 30. I had a better record (W: 8, D: 5, L: 8, GF: 30, GA: 27) and my season was disastrous.

3:1 victory away to Fulham to close the league season.

Congrats @The Taurean
Herculean effort here. Absolutely love reading these rankings and the SS.

I fully maintain that given the vastly inferior squad compared to the top 5 that had I had a Benzema earlier in the season a league win and a top 5 ranking would be secured.

Southend however absolutely smashing it!

Congratulations @The Taurean that consistency is no mean feat!

I think we should do a 1 season club swap @Damien see if you can beat a 3rd place finish with Cardiff and I’ll see if I can win a league title :wenger:
