When does it open?
What can we expect?
What can we expect?
A hell of a lot of stress. I might just ignore it. I presume now the season is over they can start things. Contracts are up to 30th June, Window opens 1st July. You could sign someone but they cannot be registered I think until the window opens. When does it open?

No one forced you to reply. Sarcasm noted!Oh yaay, another transfer thread
Will be fun when we sign no one and we start the next season with Smashley as our RB
We can expect it to be as underwhelming as last regardless of how the tabloids will try and convince us otherwiseWhen does it open?

We won’t be paying 50m for JamesWe can expect it to be as underwhelming as last regardless of how the tabloids will try and convince us otherwise
Honestly I expect Daniel James to be this summers Dalot, one 50m player and that be about it
No James will be the cheap signing for the future like Dalot was. The 50m player or this years Fred will be god knows who.We won’t be paying 50m for James
I’d pay that to get rid of a few though
This basically. We will make these supposedly 'smart' and english signings like Rice, Maguire, Wan-Bissaka and James. Then end up 7th.

The transfer window actually opens may 16th, but international transfers will first be possible at june 9th when the FIFA international window opens.A hell of a lot of stress. I might just ignore it. Yes, if I'm not mistaken the transfer window ends on the 9th of August and opens on the 16th of May.Someone remind me, did the rules change so teams can't transfer in players once the season starts... Or did I dream that?
True, the english window closes 8th of august, season starts 10thSomeone remind me, did the rules change so teams can't transfer in players once the season starts... Or did I dream that?
They better have a pile of deals in the pipeline as it is a bit late to go on scouting missions now. Thanks for the information. The transfer window actually opens may 16th, but international transfers will first be possible at june 9th when the FIFA international window opens.
But many deals will first come through at july 1st for contractual reasons.

Great thanks. Crazy how short the window is.True, the english window closes 8th of august, season starts 10th
They may still sell though.
Also the other leagues' seasons end after our window opens - Bundesliga & La Liga 18th May, Ligue 1 24th May, Serie A 25th May so they'll be unlikely to be open to doing business until they're done.Yes, if I'm not mistaken the transfer window ends on the 9th of August and opens on the 16th of May.
How have Chelsea made a summer signing? It’s springAlso the other leagues' seasons end after our window opens - Bundesliga & La Liga 18th May, Ligue 1 24th May, Serie A 25th May so they'll be unlikely to be open to doing business until they're done.
Guaranteed there'll be loads upset if we haven't done a deal in the next 7 days, ignoring the above fact and Chelsea being the only team to have made a summer signing.
7th at bestButland
Cancelo Maguire Lindelof Dalot
Gueye McTominay Pogba
Greenwood Rashford James
Bench - Garner, Chong, O'Connor, Shaw, Smalling, Martial
I will be hugely upset if we haven’t got some players in by July 1st pre season, regardless of any of the top 5 having done business or not. Last summer was a shambles of a window followed by a shambles of a season, we are desperate for better players and the club can’t afford to feck about. Can the clubs hierarchy actually get this done in an efficient manner though, very doubtful. Also the other leagues' seasons end after our window opens - Bundesliga & La Liga 18th May, Ligue 1 24th May, Serie A 25th May so they'll be unlikely to be open to doing business until they're done.

Pulisic was signed in winter but because he's not playing there until next season, most people will call him a summer signing. How have Chelsea made a summer signing? It’s spring

In January they agreed a deal for Pulisic. How have Chelsea made a summer signing? It’s spring
I agree. There's no quick fix.7th at best
Signed Pulisic in advance with the deal to go through officially when the window opens. How have Chelsea made a summer signing? It’s spring
Quite possibly the worst lineup ever posted on the cafButland

I have a weird feeling with no top 4 and a manager who the board can't fully trust yet, that spending will be tighter than hoped. Already Ole says he's gonna build the midfield around McTominay next season.Quite possibly the worst lineup ever posted on the caf
Pretty much this.My hopes of seeing these shits leaving evaporated with Jose not being bothered with getting them out, I highly doubt Ole will get rid of them.
Same shit next season with the same players, sadly.
Jose said it would be easier to start afresh with a completely new team (of course, not advisable to say publicly as United manager). That indicates to me that he would have preferred selling a host of them if he were then afforded the money to replace them with the required quality. My hopes of seeing these shits leaving evaporated with Jose not being bothered with getting them out, I highly doubt Ole will get rid of them.
