If it definitely did come from Trump Campaign funds, there has to be a paper trail. Either an investigation follows the money trail right to Daniels or the Trump Campaign has to account for $130k disappearing off their books.

Well if Cohen sticks to his story he most likely will be diss barred and jailed for creating an illegal llc and unable to be pardoned. Also I am pretty sure if this actually gets traction the FBI will be able to prove that Trump knew about this by just following the money. If investigation journalists can get us this far without power of subpoena. Imagine the FBI. Its blatantly obvious that Trump knew about this NDA. If he lies and says he doesn't then well you can look to some huge ramifications either way

why - perhaps he went to atlantic city and won $150k - perhaps there is just a verbal agreement trump will pay him tenfold when he is out of office... perhaps putin had some of his guys drop off the account varification details for a swizz deposit box with a load of gold in it... its far from certain their is a provable paper trail
All of those things either leave a paper trail or would be a huge red flag for the IRS. If you can't explain where $130,000 came from, you're not allowed to keep it. It's pretty simple stuff.
Im not so huge on this interms of knowledge so maybe you can help me out. They say that "Cohen established Essential Consultants LLC on October 17, 2016, then sent the payment to Clifford through a bank account linked to the company. He used a pseudonym for Clifford, calling her Peggy Peterson. " which bank account was this. Cowen said he paid out his own money so im going assume its his? If its his hes fecked any many ways , ways in which he cant be pardoned.
It's kinda insulting to most people's intelligence to believe this. It's kinda hard to actually believe that Cohen did all this without Trump's knowledge. It's also hard to believe that he took $130k out of this own pocket to cover up something for his client...without actually telling the client. Plausible deniability probably but given how Trump runs his businesses, I rather doubt he was in the dark about this.
