Kneeling is now termed as disrespecting a flag.
May we never reach this point in the UK.
America is gone.

https://iava.org/press-release/8000-veterans-and-troops-polled-on-nfl-protests-by-iava/

--Today, after Vice President Pence walked out of an NFL game in Indianapolis and President Trump tweeted about it, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA), the non-partisan organization and leading voice of the Post-9/11 generation of veterans, with over 400,000 members nationwide, unveiled the findings of the first and most comprehensive national poll of veterans and military personnel on the recent protests in the NFL. More than 8,000 veterans and servicemembers responded to this groundbreaking poll, which overall showed that opinions on the protests span the spectrum.--

Anyone who didn't vote agree to both is just factually wrong.

His cabinet can.
Not really, the 25th amendment is crazy as hell.

The VP and a majority of the Cabinet can declare the president unfit for office and 'depose the president' but then 2/3rds of the House and Senate have to go along with that. If they don't ratify the decision within 21 days...the President regains control.

Imagine the scorned earth Trump would deploy if his VP and others cited him being unfit but ratification didn't occur in 21 days and he regained control.

LOL - oh the hilarity! It would almost be worth the train wreck.

In theory it would be 'easier' to impeach him - a simple majority of the House accuse him of criminality, the Senate puts him on trial, he gets found guilty and he's out.

Then they could round up the sons and daughters and imprison them as well. Except Tiffany - she doesn't seem to be complicit.

You just know Don Jr and Eric would be Qusay and Uday under a different setting. They'd likely take joy in the horrors inflicted on others.

I'm not saying he is...just saying in theory, it would be easier to impeach than go down the 25th route.

In fact, I think - he's going to get 2 terms - unless of course the orange sexpest drops dead.
i think hes going to change the law... get 3 terms and ivanka / baron will fight to the death for succession rights - on PPV of course - it will be huge - massive - and of course everybody will have to stand for the anthem.

I certainly don't see him being impeached though - it would become too partisan

The polls were not that bad. They had her winning by a few percent. She won the popular vote.
She was well within the margin of error which everyone seemed to ignore even though it was stated at the bottom of every poll.

The polls were pretty good nationally - not so good in the northern swing states that Trump unexpectedly won. It would be pretty diabolical if it was done by way of Russian ad placements and social media trolling.

Especially so if the Trump admin had shared their demographic research with the perpetrators.

The Newyorker profile of Tillerson is quite interesting. Quite extensive right up from his formative years and middle class upbringing to his experience at Exxon and work so far as Secretary of State. One of the more complimentary pieces written about a Trump official.

Yep....and that's something that is still under investigation. If its revealed that voters in those states had their views of the candidates manipulated by an Russian influence operation then that would blow the lid off the credibility of Trump's win imo - which when you combine that with his current predicament, would completely freeze his entire Presidency.

First Take is hammering Trump this morning. Citing this is him vs NFL because they wouldn't let him buy into the league on a couple occasions. How he's hijacked the protest and turned it into a vs the country/flag/soldiers thing, and how this is simply to appease his base.

That's clearly treason. If the GOP truly have American values at heart then they would have to impeach. I won't be holding my breath.

I think him leaving because we make his time in office so completely miserable and he sees something coming down the pipe from Meuller is as likely as a successful impeachment.

Which is to say, not likely at all.

He is definitely going to have to be forced out. An indictment and impeachment would seem plausible if he keeps losing GOP Senators like McCain, Corker etc.

An example of Sinclair Broadcast Group, this from the St Louis area viewers.

https://www.mediamatters.org/resear...nspiracy-theories-wannabe-sean-hannity/218076

Exert from the article; there's more links to this vile cretin's past rhetoric, including pushing conspiracies.

---Beginning in 2015, the Sinclair-owned KDNL, an ABC-affiliated station branded as ABC 30, switched from broadcasting typical local news reports to instead offering its viewers three airings per day of The Allman Report. Billed as a “non-traditional newscast,” the 30-minute program airs during weekday time slots typically reserved for a local newscast: 6:30 a.m. leading into Good Morning America, 5 p.m leading into ABC World News Tonight, and 10 p.m. (The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported last week that as part of Sinclair's proposed expansion, the company "disclosed its plans to expand morning and evening newscasts in St. Louis at 4:30 a.m., 6 p.m. and 10 p.m., in a regulatory filing Thursday but didn’t say on what station.")

The Allman Report is hosted by Jamie Allman, a local conservative radio host. Allman’s TV show closely mimics the playbook for a classic Fox News evening commentary program. It touts a “debate-driven” and guest-heavy format and focuses on bread-and-butter conservative topics. Allman often delivers monologues that mirror former Fox host and current monster Bill O’Reilly’s “Talking Points Memo” or any of the unhinged commentaries Sean Hannity unleashes upon his audience nightly.

KDNL leadership admitted that the show would have a “conservative” bent when announcing its debut. But Allman’s extreme far-right rhetoric and fringe conspiracy theories go far beyond conservative spin. For years before Sinclair opted to give him a city-wide platform, Allman pushed numerous far-right conspiracy theories on his KTFK talk radio show, Allman in the Morning, which he continues to host regularly. He also employs patently offensive rhetoric targeted specifically at women, people of color, and immigrants on air and in social media. And yet, Sinclair has only magnified and legitimized his voice, as well as those of the extreme guests he favors.---

Some just want to watch the world burn....
Isn't the renewable energy sector too important in terms of employment in the US? I mean, if anything you are hurting your own economy at this point with this, even if you don't care about the environment? It's obvious, why they are doing this, anything Obama has accomplished needs to be destroyed, but hasn't it come too far to reverse it?

Also let's not forget that Trump invested in Vince McMahon's XFL which was created to challenge the NFL and it failed miserably. It's clear that Trump is bitter towards the NFL and the bitterness definitely didn't start with players kneeling. There's tweets from him from like 2012 calling the NFL boring and encouraging people not to watch.
