Exactly my thoughts as well.what to say?
ffsHad the pleasure of meeting Peter Sutcliffe at a charity do once. He was surprisingly down to earth, and VERY funny
Blimey, I can’t imagine how she felt when she found out.I was working in Bradford when all his crimes were being committed. My colleague's friend lived next door to him. She'd been talking to him about the terrible murders and he'd been saying "Yes, it's awful isn't it?"
Every woman was frightened to go out at night.
Wow. That must have been terrifying.I was working in Bradford when all his crimes were being committed. My colleague's friend lived next door to him. She'd been talking to him about the terrible murders and he'd been saying "Yes, it's awful isn't it?"

Damn. That's definitely something that would affect you for life.I was working in Bradford when all his crimes were being committed. My colleague's friend lived next door to him. She'd been talking to him about the terrible murders and he'd been saying "Yes, it's awful isn't it?"

I know, the psychopath next door .... Ted Bundy was very charming, too.Blimey, I can’t imagine how she felt when she found out.
She was probably safest of all. Highly unlikely that he'd kill his neighbour and bring the police into his house.I was working in Bradford when all his crimes were being committed. No word to describe Ted Bundy. He still continues to be a popular subject. If you shoot a Netflix serial about Ted Bundy, even if it's bad, it sells. Unbelievable.I know, the psychopath next door .... Ted Bundy was very charming, too.
Bet he had some killer anecdotes to share.Had the pleasure of meeting Peter Sutcliffe at a charity do once. He was surprisingly down to earth, and VERY funny
Very good!I wasn't born when he commited the crimes but my late Dad was a huge practical joker and brilliant impressionist.
When the tapes were released and the person had a North East accent, when he and my mum were listening to reports on the radio my Dad turned to my mum and apparently in a bang on impression of the tapes said, "they'll never catch me." My mum said she absolutely shit herself. It made me smile when she told us about at his wake because I can picture his face trying to not laugh as he did it.

Of course it is, he's white. That's a nice photo of Yorkshire Ripper serial killer Peter Sutcliffe
Harold Shipman fan here but that's class. Not his biggest fan, far from it, but wish the lad a speedy recovery
Police noticed his car had false number plates, then discovered the tools he’d used to kill with, hammer, chisel etcHow did they catch him
Modern obsession with being "Impartial" about things really annoys me.I guess they have to remain impartial
There are several videos on YouTube about the case. The BBC did a good 3 part documentary about it, but it's currently not available on iPlayer. How did they catch him
I think it's just the BBC thing they have to do to be seen as not taking sides and don't get in trouble, but it did seem odd.Modern obsession with being "Impartial" about things really annoys me.
The tapes were the work of John Humble ("Wearside Jack"), who for some unknown reason thought it would be a laugh to send the police on a wild goose chase. They started looking for someone from the north-east, and Sutcliffe killed more women while they were sidetracked.I wasn't born when he commited the crimes but my late Dad was a huge practical joker and brilliant impressionist.

thick as thievesHe was bezzies with Jimmy Saville too and apparently helped in some murders, lovely pair.
I've looked into it since, but whenever I hear of Peter Sutcliffe my mind immediately goes to that story. The tapes were the work of John Humble ("Wearside Jack"), who for some unknown reason thought it would be a laugh to send the police on a wild goose chase. I'm not sure thats right as i remember the night. He had a lady in the car with him in a car park, the police asked him to step out and he said he needed a piss, the police agreed and he went round the corner to get rid of his tools, he dropped one and they went to investigate and found all they needed.
