Bryan was fantastic. The Yes movement got annoying by the end... but he was great in the ring.

Terrible luck. lost his father a few days after his title win. Then got injured soon after that.

Mark Henry laughing at the Bryan chants in that first video

Brilliant wrestler too, in answer to that side of the question. If you wanted to check him out, the match against Cena at Summerslam 2013 is a good one, or the one against CM Punk from Over the Limit 2012. Or there's his ROH matches against KENTA, Takeshi Morishima and Nigel McGuinness (there's multiple, but take your pick).

I'm basing this off the scores on cagematch.net. I used to actually have an Excel file with match ratings, and I'm really annoyed with myself for deleting it.

He was so over with the fans that they chanted for him even when he never spoke in the ring, surrounded by big WWE superstars:
This video for me sums up his best montage towards the end, just how big a star he really was before retirement:

And this is one of many promos that I liked:
His heel run was also amazing and he showed them that he could cut a very good promo.

Th work he did with AJ was some of his best work.

Even his 18 second loss at Mania ended up hurting Sheamus more than it did Bryan.

He was even better as a heel imo before he had to cater more to the fans (although he was still brilliant both ways) he'd come out with some hilarious stuff too

The fans started going mad for him when he was heel, so they had to turn him into a good guy

Punk and Bryan are the two wrestlers i regret not seeing. Balor falls into that category too but i assume he will be wrestling soon.

I miss Punk :(

Weird how he did almost everything possible in WWE, and it still feels like he was a missed opportunity in some ways.

Punks stuff with Straight Edge Society was brilliant esp his feud with Jeff Hardy.

Punk was quite sloppy in the ring but was always a brilliant character which did a lot to mask his deficiencies. I was a big Punk fan.

After the pipe bomb promo I firmly believed that was the WWE's best opportunity to have another Stone Cold Steve Austin (in fact I still do), but they blew it big time. Also when he won the belt after his contract 'had expired' and they had him appear in lots of publications and events outside the company with the belt saying he was unsure whether he would be coming back felt so real. It was great.

If you want to hear more about Punk, how the WWE botched him and his general laziness then I cannot recommend this enough, Take a listen the time flies in:

This wrestlemania card must be up there with the worst ever made.
And they will know that, so expect another 45 minute segment with the Rock and a few veterans to get the crowd lifted.

I've got no issue with Goldberg vs Lesnar. Wrestlemania needs these type of blockbuster encounters, but it shouldn't have been a title match and it shouldn't be the main event.

There is so much talent on both rosters. Vince has massively lost touch.

We could have got;

Cena vs AJ for the title which would have been worth watching the whole show for.

Owens vs Jericho for the (other) title.

Rollins vs Balor

Triple H vs Shane in a street fight/falls count anywhere match (they could have built boardroom tension between the two for months).

Undertaker vs Samoa joe

Strauman vs Big show (I really digged their recent match)

Corbin vs orton vs Wyatt

Ladder match for the Raw women's championship (same wrestlers that have been booked).

Lynch vs James for smackdow title

Goldberg vs Lesnar

SHIELD triple threat match (this is assuming Balir isn't fit).

In fact I'm surprised they haven't done a Shield triple threat match at 'mania yet. They could make it a TLC encounter. Rollins and Ambrose doing crazy shit off ladders and Reigns spearing the shit out of everyone through tables.

There's not even a ladder match ffs. Also I assume that Strowman is nailed on to win the battle royal so no surprises there.

Should have had a Ladder match for the 205 stars (minus Aries/Neville). Could have been so much fun.

Im actually fine with some of the matches they have like:
Taker/Reigns
Jericho/Owens
Neville/Aries
even Brock v Goldberg is fine. But I think they made a few mistakes. Brock/Goldberg doesnt need the title. Jericho/Owens for the UT would have been fantastic. In fact, the build has been pretty much excellent.
Ive enjoyed Taker vs Reigns buildup too but I think Braun deserved to be part of the match too. (Imo Braun deserves a one on one high profile match at WM).
Even Corbin vs Ambrose and Wyatt vs Orton im fine with but I would have done it the other way round for the latter (with Wyatt winning the Rumble and Orton winning EC but again im not too fussed cos the story of Orton trying to take everything away has been done well - just want Wyatt to win).

AJ should be one of the main events given the year hes had. Cena deserves a high profile match too.

How come people aren't as invested into the Rollins vs. HHH match? I think that could be quite fun.

Rollins probably won't be fit enough to have a full match.

I am interested to see how it goes down though, surely HHH can't put him over too.. Because then it's just an obvious script at Wrestlemania given he put over reigns brock and Bryan. Sting was a red herring.

They've stretched the feud out too long(HHH turned on Rollins back in August) and Rollins hasn't been around for the build up due to injury. Match might not even go ahead, and may just be a segment.

I think quite a few of the matches have been slept on in the build up. HHH/Rollins actually makes perfect sense for this show, it's been a year or two building to it and likely would have happened before if not for Rollins first injury. I think the stories great and the build up has been great too. Rollins has to finally go over at Wrestlemania which I imagine he does.

The legit complaints to be had are with the Smackdown tag stuff and arguably both sides of the Women's division. For the past year they've screamed about the Women's revolution and 'HISTORY!' but the reality is they've gone back to their same old shit this year by throwing every single woman into one match. There's no excuse for it either considering the show is going to be 6-7 hours again. I refuse to believe that's not enough time to have 4 Women's matches, two for both sides. I actually think the Raw match will be very good though in fairness.

Smackdown tag title's has been a strange one. The Usos are fantastic right now, they really deserve a standard tag match for the title at Wrestlemania and given 15-20 minutes to shine.

Eh? If he's wrestling at all, then he's cleared and fit to have a full match.

They wouldn't have had the segment the other week with Rollins if he wasn't 100% fit and cleared.

I think it'll go 2 ways. 1st the obvious result (sometimes that's ok) wrestler gets injured by the henchman of the guy he's facing, looks like he won't make the match, shenanigans in build up and in match HHH will beat down on Seth in the match, but somehow towards the end Seth wins to a big ovation. Been one a millions times before. 2nd option he really is injured so instead on the match they form this new group with Owens, Joe and HHH by beating down on Rollins.

An idea popped into my head for Mania if Rollins is injured. HHH and his crew are beating down Rollins then out comes Reigns and Ambrose to help him out. Shield reunion would surely get a pop.

Wouldnt coincide well with a Reigns heel turn anticipated vs Undertaker.

Reigns and Ambrose turn up to help, clear the ring, then Reigns spears Ambrose and Rollins, then Rock, Austin, Michaels and Angle show up to take out Reigns, then Spirit Squad show up to take out Rock, Austin, Michaels and Angle but get beat up, then the Vaudevillains, the Ascension and Breezango show up and also get beat up, then the Rock makes a speech, then Bray shows up with Strowman and gets beat up, then team LayCool show up and get beat up, then Cryme Tyme show up and get beat up, and this continues until the arena is littered with the bodies of anyone who wrestled between 2000 and now, with Rock, Austin, Michaels and Austin standing on the pile, then Reigns crawls from underneath with the Undertaker and takes them out and also win both sets of tag titles as well as the nxt titles because as it turns out, it's THEIR yard.

Unless they have Taker lose, then Taker shakes Reigns hands, raises his hand, and lifts him onto his shoulders and carries him around the ring as the new champion of the yard.
Then Reigns can do the Shield stuff later :P

Yeah, Rollins vs HHH kinda interests me but more so what they do. Match probably happens a month or two later on a Raw PPV
