I actually think that Nia Jax has the prettiest face on Raw. Her eyes are mesmerising.

If she was thinner she'd be stunning.

I like a night with Sasha Banks most on Raw.

Smackdown is easier - Bliss or Maryse, obviously.

Yes, it absolutely does!

I'm going to watch Mania anyway. But if I was still in the state of mind of a casual fan (which i have been most of the time) there is absolutely nothing that would make me feel I had to match Mania from seeing Raw last night.

I still don't get why Rollins and HHH hate eachother. Nor what Taker and Reigns are feuding over, as not a mention of the Rumble elimination has come up.And opening the show with Bailey was just awful. She's so annoying and unlikable

EDIT: I read "tend" as "need". So that's how I've answered it  My bad!
HHH brought Rollins through essentially as his protege and pushed him to be the main man in the WWE, then after Rollins returned from his injury and was in the Universal Title picture, HHH came in and delivered a pedigree on him, basically handing Owens the title.

The Undertaker has been referring to the WWE as his yard and Reigns has basically told the old man to feck off because it's his yard now.

Was it ever explained why HHH screwed him over though? Genuinely asking

You see LawCharltonBest in this business there are winners and losers, and Hunter tried so hard to create something but Seth failed him. The fact of the matter is, Seth is just a B plus player who doesn't deserve to be a main eventer. That's why The Game, The Cerebral Assissin, The King of Kings Triple H betrayed him because it was best for business.

Mad seeing Taker 5/1 at WM. But then again, according to the odds, this is the most cut and dried WM ever.

Brock(1/10), Orton(1/4), AJ(1/4), Roman(1/3), Seth(1/3), CenaNikka(1/7), Bayley(2/7), KO(1/3) .

Wheres the upset gonna be? Since theres generally one or two. (Jericho and Charlotte last year, Trips and Seth the year before, no shit at 30 etc etc)

Aries at 11/4 looks very good. He's walking away with the title, surely?

Edit - Spoilered as I've been shouted at for talking about odds before... :nervous:

:wenger: @Rolandofgilead thinks so too, bless, and his taste is truly awful, he would fancy Van Vader if he wore a skirt and put enough lipstick on. He also doesn't think Mickey James looks any different since her return despite her clearly having a face only a fisherman could love and having more work done than Anakin Skywalker after he lost his fight to Obi Wan.
Bayley is my celeb crush. Mickie still looks hot. You're still ginger. X

I think HHH will win.

Had a similar hunch vs Sting and it won me about £70

You clearly haven't seen many PPV's then if that was the worst you've ever seen.

This card isn't even close to being horrendous.
Yes it is. Name one good match other than Owens and Jericho (and it's obvious who wins there).

I'm gonna back Wyatt. Orton winning is tedious. Wyatt will probably have as much support if not more. Once Randy hits one RKO the crowd will be happy

Aries vs Neville, Wyatt vs Orton and Roman vs Taker are good matches.
So is HHH vs Seth tbh. (Need all the younger guys to win though imo) We see too many old vs new guys and the new guy losing, but then staying whilst the older guy fecks off after WM and you sit watching, why the feck should I care about this loser who got embarrassed by a 50 year old dude.

Yeh, I can see where you're both coming from. I'm just thinking from a real life perspective, imagine having your boss tell you and your mrs that you're getting engaged where and when he says.....

If/when it happens - It's either kayfabe engagement (unlikely seeing as though kayfabe is dead) or they're already engaged... Surely?!

No need to name any as I'm looking forward to almost everything. The idea that matches like HHH/Rollins can't be good is almost as ridiculous of an idea as this PPV being the worst PPV ever. Even if you'd have called it the worst Wrestlemania it'd still be hilarious (go and check out shows such as Mania IX as I imagine you haven't already), but to call it the actual worst PPV of all time is beyond bizarre.

It's the same old over the top reactions from certain wrestling fans that love to shit on everything and anything WWE.

Just got Kayfabe Commentaries Guest Booker w/ Jim Cornette. The one where he re-books the flop that was the invasion. Can't wait to watch this later.

By chance last night I caught the HHH/Rollins contract signing in RAW.

Would I be wrong in saying that HHH was absolutely brilliant in that segment?

Taker at 5/1 is surely worth a bet. I'm surprised to see Bailey favourite though, she's been pretty terrible on the main roster, I'm almost certain she's lost more matches than she's won. Sasha is winning then and turning heel in the process imo.

It will put a complete downer if Reigns beats Taker to the point it could ruin the whole show, I'll be too pissed to care about anything else.

You know these promos are scripted, yeah? It is not like a freestyle rap battle. It's booked this way. Cena might have enough stroke to ad lib parts of his promos or just be given bullet points but the segment was booked for Cena to look like that. The Miz(and Maryse as well) had no comeback to Cena because Miz was booked to have no comeback.

Wrestlers often get the creative freedom on their promos. They don't just have a team that say "you say x and the other guy will say y" in robotic fashion. There is a lot of input from the star himself/herself and they work out what is best. Even after that, the delivery is just as (or more) important than the actual words written out. Cena consistently delivers top end promos and is the only superstar I can say that equalled the Rock in the squared circle during their fued.

Its the way he articulates and structures his delivery, which is mostly him and can be on the fly. They simply don't have the time to learn in-depth promos day after day from a creative team and are left to their own devices from a vague script. The art of turning that vague script into an amazing promo is all him.

If you want to see how scripted promos go wrong - just check out Reigns or a good 50% of the roster, out there jobbing for a good reason.

Watched Smackdown and what a shambles they've turned their tag division into. The Usos have been brilliant since the heel turn and won the titles last week so what do they decide? Oh, let's just stick them and all of the other teams into a huge clusterfeck of a Andre The Giant battle royal.

fecking hell fire. As @JP77 said, Uso's and AA added to a shit battle royal, which already included Strowman and Zayn - And then put on the fecking pre show!

Aries/Neville and the SD women also on the pre show! Ridiculous.

They could've saved Naomi's return for Mania and had a big pop for her in the middle of the show.. But nah, they'll just have her match when the stadium is half empty.

Samoa Joe isn't on the card at all, is that right? Given, i'd rather have him not on there at all than job to Strowman, but you're telling me they couldn't find room for a Joe/Zayn match?

I don't get the strategy with the cruiserweights, promote them on Raw and push 205 Live as 'the most exciting hour on TV' then move the title match to the pre show.

Now that Wrestlemania is round the corner, I made a prediction scorecard if any of you want to join. Please tag me in your predictions post if you want to take part:

This is just a bit of fun to see who here called Wrestlemania most accurately. Points are based on #participants or difficulty to call: 1, 3 or 5 points. Big cards are set to 3 or 5 points by default since we'll care more about who gets the big matches right than the smaller ones.

Wrestlers get very limited freedom on promos. They had freedom to say whatever they wanted in the 90's but they clearly do not have that anymore. Listen to Kevin Nash, who was one of the best promos in the 90s, talk about his promos with CM Punk in 2011. He just had to accept that Punk was allowed to insult him about his age, quads, etc with no response, whereas in the 90s he could have gone off script and said whatever he wanted with a live mic. If Nash was given any creative freedom he would have used it. Austin also talked about this many times on his podcast.

Cena probably has the freedom to ad lib and I don't doubt he is not scripted as the top guy in the company. However, Miz had no creative freedom to offer a rebuttal to Cena's 5 minute promo on him either on the mic or by calling an audible and getting physical, so its going to look like was destroyed as he has no opportunity to offer a comeback. Cena was allowed to run Miz down for 5 minutes, tell him he was firing blanks, run down Maryse, and challenge Miz to get physical with him and Miz just had to walk away. That's all in the booking, nothing to do with Cena's promo.

I think you're confusing my reasons for saying Cena dicked on Miz. It was in relation to the delivery of the promo, not just the promo itself. I find him extremely captivating. I also find it less likely to believe that Miz has "no freedom" in his promos. These days creativity is endorsed to Superstars, not suppressed.

EDIT - take part in my predictions card maaaaan
