Now the Premier League window is closed, there'll only be a few minor outgoings so squads are unlikely to change that much.

Last season's top six:
  1. Manchester City - 100
  2. Manchester United - 81
  3. Tottenham Hotspur - 77
  4. Liverpool - 75
  5. Chelsea - 70
  6. Arsenal - 63
Managerial changes:
Arsenal - Wenger out, Emery in
Chelsea - Conte out, Sarri in

Manchester City
Ins:
Riyad Mahrez - £60M

Outs:
Angus Gunn - £13.5M
Joe Hart - £3.5M
Yaya Toure - Free

Manchester United
Ins:
Fred - £47M
Diogo Dalot - £19M
Lee Grant - £1.5M

Outs:
Daley Blind - £14M
Sam Johnstone - £6.5M
Michael Carrick - Retired

Tottenham Hotspur
Ins:
N/A

Outs:
N/A

Liverpool
Ins:
Alisson - £66M
Naby Keita - £54M
Fabinho - £40M
Xherdan Shaqiri - £13M

Outs:
Danny Ward - £12.5M
Jon Flanagan - Free
Emre Can - Free

Chelsea
Ins:
Kepa - £72M
Jorginho - £50M
Mateo Kovacic - Loan
Rob Green - Free

Outs:
Thibaut Courtois - £30M

Arsenal
Ins:
Lucas Torreira - £26M
Bernd Leno - £22M
Sokratis - £16M
Matteo Guendouzi - £7M
Stephan Lichtsteiner - Free

Outs:
Santi Cazorla - Free
Jack Wilshere - Free
Calum Chambers - Loan
Per Mertesacker - Retired

Prices are roughly right, different sources say different things. No point in trying to correct fees. For other clubs like Wolves, Everton etc check their transfers on transfermarkt or another website.

Seems all is done bar the odd small deal. My prediction:
  1. Manchester City
  2. Liverpool
  3. Manchester United
  4. Chelsea
At the end of the month I'll try and add up all respondents and get an average for who the caf thinks will finish in the top four.

The most logical answer is
City
Liverpool
United
Someone

But there are always a few surprises so I’m gonna go for:
1. Liverpool
2. United
3. City
4. Chelsea

This is my exact top 4 as well. Think with Tottenham completely standing still this window means they'll take a slight step backward.

If the team stays relatively drama free and simply does its best, then 3rd or 4th. If Mourinho has a meltdown and unsettles the team, then 6th.

Chelsea did really well in the end of the window, securing Kovacic on loan. Puts them above Spurs/Arsenal for me. For Liverpool, anything below third would be an absolute failure, and second with a real tough title challenge should be the goal.

Yes I voted 5th. But despite the tingly glee of the click there is a reason. Mourinho in his 3rd season, football getting no better, no obvious strengthening (Fred and Dalot are sub par attempts at that). Oh yes, nearly forgot about about happy Pogba. Expect much drama, going back to my 3rd season point. Chelsea will be gunning for that 4th spot. Arsenal won't be far behind on their attempts.

Edit: Feck me I just read about the veto! Don't give the man a reason to hold a grudge, you won't like it when he holds a grudge!! Y'aaarggghhh!

Don't see City repeating the 19 point gap again, but afraid it won't be close.

I had us 3rd a while back, but I see Pool dropping more points vs minnows than us.

And Chelsea jumping to 4th after I thought their window was pretty good all things considered.

… followed by Chelsea, then Arsenal.

And maybe 3rd and 4th might swap around.

I think both Chelsea and United are in the most danger of slipping up and both Spurs and Arsenal will be right up there pushing to get into this seasons top 4.

Looks like a classic season ahead!

Although I could see Liverpool struggle now there's finally some expectations there.

Not sure about 3\4, might be either of us getting third.

City must be the hottest favourites in some time (prob since Utd in their heyday) and I can only see them not topping the league if they have injuries to key players. The next 3 places could conceivably be in any order - as ever a lot will depend on cup runs especially any team going far in CL/EL.
