Imagine most of the teams getting loose wallet sugar daddies and us being stuck with the Glazers...
I mean, we are supposedly spending 85 million and 250k+ a week on a 19 year old centre back

We clearly have money, the problem is we don't really know how to spend it...

He’s not just a 19 year old CB, he’s potentially one of the greatest CBs ever.
Such transfer would be a tremendous statement from the club, and could well end up being the most important transfer we’ve made since SAF retired.

And managers we hire who don't know how to make use of the players at their disposal.

So according to the latest tweets, we're offering:

Ajax 70m
Raiola 12m
De Ligt 350k

Well. At least it's not in the Glazer's pockets.

If you get this done Woody, all is forgiven!!

We'll even forgive you for insisting that Jones and Smalling are as good as Godin, Maguire, Alderweireld and Boateng!

As long as we have ED Woodworm in charge we can not expect much good to happen. He is always a day late and a dollar short in transfer business, always has been. He will not give up his position of control.
Oh that’s surprising to hear. He’s signed Falcao, Di Maria, Schweinsteger, Schneiderlin, Pogba, Fred, Lukaku amongst others...

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
He's signing for United wtf. This is exactly like the Pogba rumours. We all thought he'd be off to City, Barca, or Madrid. Multiple sources came out saying Pogba didnt want United etc etc.

United are signing De Light.

Not going to post much in here as some of the good ones are banned and some of the bad ones are allowed, But I think we are in the running for DeLIgt. But no deal done yet.
I don't wanna get sucked in, but it'd be a big statement. If we can bring in the biggest prospect in defence, I think it will send out signals of whats to come.... Sancho, Wan Bissaka etc. We start to look a prospect to these kids

And we have improved fantastically over recent years.

It is actually because surely he must know that signing football players and judging how good they actaually are is not exactly in his line of expertise. You failo to notice that this Ed Woodward is the same Ed Woodward who helped the leeches taker over the club. The only reason he has not been sacked is because he is doing a graet job . Football is not important. Cash is.

We already gave Raiola £16m for the Pogba deal (a deal he personally made £41m from) - you'd think he'd give us a discount here.

Acorrding to Juve's financial reports, we never paid Raiola agent fee, Juve did.

Have a feeling that the teams below will start to be a real, real problem (if they weren't already) when we travel away. They can pick up real talent across European leagues with the money in England right now. Everton, Leicester and Wolves could become really horrible.
Proactiveness and scouting is key to keep the team at higher level, the board lacks this for sure under Woodward.

If this does happen, with the price and wages being quoted, the pressure on this kid (and he is very much still a kid) is going to be absolutely unreal. I hope he’s got some balls

There is 0% chance of us signing De Ligt. But Woody will drag it out throughout summer, Barca will up their offer last minute, City will sign Maguire, Napoli will refuse to sell Koulibaly and we'll be stuck at the end of the window with Woody briefing that we had 100m to spend on a CB but heading into a 9th seaaon with Smalling and Jones as viable starters for the club. Don't think for a minute that Woodward is anywhere near capable of not getting mugged off by other players and agents to get a better deal elsewhere.

Keep a clean shit tomorrow, United is my final bus
The '0%' bit is a bit of a crazy thing you say right now but the rest of his post is distinctly possible. Just because we're in the midst of another transfer saga and everybody is excited, you can't forget everything that came before. We have previous for being led up the garden path under Woodward - Godin, Ramos, Muller etc.

Unfortunately United have become a cash cow for people who have very little interest in winning trophies. They just want to gain cash, and legally they have every right to do so. Manchester United is no longer a club looking to win trophies. Manchester United is a club looking to win money for it's owners and that is the sad fact.
