EDIT: More info
Chelsea proposed a friendly against Shakhtar in Donetsk?

Interested to see how they are going to organise that one in a Russian occupied City that's currently on the front lines of a war zone.

Tier 2:

  • Gallagher's attracting loan interest from Crystal Palace and Newcastle United.
  • Contract renewal talks with both Mount and Mendy are on hold until the end of the January transfer window.
    • Kanté's talks are the only one that's had any progress.
  • From the academy: Jude Soonsup-Bell, Charlie Webster, and Silko Thomas are all looking to leave Chelsea
    • Attracting lots of interest from various clubs in England and the rest of Europe

Tier 3:
Everton are interested in Moussa Dembele, who is free in June, and could make a bid this winter to get ahead of the competition.

The English side have tried for Ouattara but are now pursuing Sulemana.

Uh oh:

Source (Tier 2):

IMPORTANT: Flamengo has not yet signed the sale of João Gomes to Wolverhampton, England, because an offer from Lyon for the midfielder has come up. The French team proposed something "a little better" to Fla and delayed the process with the English team. Tendency that solves today.

Wolverhampton's proposal for João Gomes is 17 million Euros, with the value being paid in five installments. Lyon's is around 18 million Euros. The player has already said he wants to keep his word and close with Wolves. Rodolfo Landim [Flamengo president], however, has yet to sign.

The full quote says after the war is over and Ukraine is stable.

OK fair enough, still that will probably take years even if the war ended in the near future. Shakhtar haven't played in donetsk in almost a decade.

Villarreal already have an offer from Southampton for NICO JACKSON.

Not closed, but in negotiation. Good harmony. The player would see his salary greatly improved.

BEN BRERETON very advanced (in place for summer). He was offered to Villarreal CF.
  • Villarreal ask for €20m for Jackson.
    • Release clause: €30m
  • Southampton offered an amount that's a little less than €20m
    • Once the fee's agreed, then the transfer should wrap up quickly.
More info on Brereton:

EDIT: Updated tweet to replace the deleted one
This has been known for quite a while
Which is why we signed Strakosha in the summer. Raya would be a great signing for any side in the CL just don’t expect him to save any penalties

Fiorentina has rejected Leicester's final offer for Nico González. Leicester has ended their chase for the player for now.

They're not going to spend 100-150m on Kvara when they spent 100m on Grealish to also be the left winger along with having Foden there
Yeah, stylistically I think him and Grealish are quite similar players. Except Kvaratskhelia is more productive, decisive and an all round better footballer.

Apparently there was talk of two friendlies, one in London around August before the new season kicks off (with all the proceeds donated to Ukraine) and one in Donetsk at an unspecified time TBA but probably when the war is over and Shakhtar can return home to their city as a symbolic homecoming friendly of sorts.

Spurs have a 1-year option that they can trigger in Conte's contract. Tuchel's open to returning to management but hasn't been in contact with any of the clubs as of yet.
