Omari is good. But not so good that I’d want to break bank. Good luck lad; we have more coming through.
I know he hasnt got a lot of minutes but from the little I've seen from him I dont see anything special. He's not fast, strong, skilled or anything to suggest he'll make it at top level, it's a small sample though.

Both rumours strike me as total bollox
What's hilarious is we've been told we've put in a sporting structure to make footballing operation decisions, but all these rumours say it's because Ratcliffe likes them

Agreed. Not bothered in the slightest by this. He's nowhere near Rasmus, but is really pretty close in age, and that is the level we should be looking at.

Not one journo knew anything about Omar coming in but every journo knows what manager and players we are after long before Omar and Ashworth et al are in place. Click bait fc to the end.

I'm sad Sergio Amara twitter account (fake ex Manutd scout) is no longer here. Knew it was fake but it was fun seeing people replying to his tweets so seriously.

You can tell it's nonsense because they're referring players and managers that Ratcliffe is impressed by. If Ratcliffe is choosing players and managers personally rather than relying on the team he's constructing, that's not even in place yet, we're in trouble.

Ahh ok. Barkley is a deep lying ball carrier for us and I thought your guy was the same.

In the loosest of senses. Casemiro is a ball winner. Barkley is obviously meant to be a creative player. I get that Barkley isn’t the no10 of his early years but to suggest he’s a replacement for Casemiro is just weird.

Has to be Benjamin Sesco 6’4, fast right footed, can play as a 10 and goal scorer, would give the manager the option to change the strategy and play 352 or 3412 as well as 4231. This lad is available at £42m but out and he’s just starting to come good he’ll share the work load with Hojlund and these two will score bundles next season. We’ll be set at number 9 for next decade.

He's barely scoring bundles in the Bundesliga

Tier 1:

Besides Everton & Nottingham Forest, Chelsea is a club to keep an eye on as they are getting closer to breaching the PSR limits. Their player sales will help as long as they continue.

Quotes from different club sources to The Times:
Anyone who is close to the limit is terrified about taking any risks now. Clubs are definitely erring on the side of caution. We saw in January that no one spent anything really, and I’m sure the whole transfer market will quieten in the summer too — maybe that’s a good thing.

It’s a balancing act now. We need to stay within the rules but we need to remain competitive both domestically and in Europe.

The full Tebas quotes:
I am a lawyer. If someone came out of a legal case innocent there is nothing else to say. He is doing really well as a player and I hope he continues to stay in Spanish football. That is good for us.

You should respect legal process. People might be condemning him in the press but you have to respect the legal decision. There is nothing else to talk about. He wasn't condemned [found guilty] here so I don't care.

Slightly more info:

United will receive a monetary compensation in the hundreds of thousands of Pounds should he sign elsewhere.

@Adnan potentially a sign of Mayorga having more influence - if true.
I've been thinking the same thing with various links to young South American players. There was also a link to a LCB lately (Lucumi) who I believe is also due to Mayorga. And I also believe the link to the young player Joao Neves started with the arrival of Mayorga last year who I believe had him on his list from his youth team days at Benfica.

Kendry Paez who signed for Chelsea at 15 years old, was another player United wanted due to Mayorga's contacts in South America. But the financial offer from Chelsea was deemed too good to turn down by the youngsters reps.

Players like Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez were both also recommended by Mayorga straight from South America. And it's why he was promoted into a very senior scouting role per reports.

Source (Tier 2):

I'm sure I won't be the first to ask or think it, but why would Ashworth need to officially be in place for United to try to sign him?

Seems a strange thing that he's say "Yeah Omar, he's going to be England's best CB in 3 years time. Sign him now" and United would say "We agree and trust you're right, but the thing is it was your turn to bring in the cakes yesterday and you weren't here, so..."
