1-0 Feyenoord. Harrison misjudges the cross and a Feyenoord player is unmarked at the far post to head it home.

This match needed a goal, perhaps we did too. We've created next to nothing and Feyenoord has had most of the ball so far.

Whenever we do get the ball we lack the composure and patience to move the ball and work the opponent. We're in too much of a hurry to play the final ball and fail to create any rhythm to our game. Biancheri is isolated on his own, no support from the flanks or from Scanlon.

Close to 2-0 as a cross is almost headed to our own goal.

A few of the players look out on their feet. Moorhouse must be injured, otherwise he surely would've been on by now.

Yeah playing with a small squad every day on a soft pitch takes its toll. Looks like we've completely run out of gas.

Williams' dribbling is a joy to watch. So strong with both feet and his body feints a very good.

Unlucky not to score there. Followed up by a sucker punch, that’s really unfortunate.

Scanlon shoots with his left but it's cleared off the line. It was probably going wide anyway.

Feyenoord score 2-0 a minute later.

Can't see us having the energy to make this into a contest anymore. Well-deserved for Feyenoord. The best team in the tournament along with Dinamo.

Our passing has been poor today. Finding it difficult to complete simple short passes.

Nevermind, here comes Moorhouse. Not sure why it's so late though, maybe not fully 100%.

McAllister & Williams the only ones who have been decent today. We're so slow to build up from the back and whenever we get the ball to midfield we just try to play the ball behind the defense. Without fail it goes straight to an opponent.

70' Moorhouse finally on. Scanlon comes off.

Feyenoord much stronger and win most youth tournaments. Level slightly different. Good to beat a couple of pro sides and get in a final.

'A couple of pro sides' is a funny way to refer to two elite academies in Monaco & Dinamo Zagreb.

82' Baumann loses the ball and Feyenoord attack with 3 vs 1.

FT 3-0.

Congrats Feyenoord and RvP, well-deserved winners.

Fell short in the end but some good results & individual performances overall. I just hope, with the U18 PL just around the corner, that this hasn't done more harm than good in terms of injuries.

80 minute games were a bit too long for my liking. 60 probably would've been more balanced if you're going to play every day.

Thought McAllister, Munro & Harrison were our best players this weekend. Fitzgerald & Williams decent too.

Then again you can't not participate in tournament so that your players don't get injured. Having Amass and the Fletcher twins with us could've made the difference in terms of going for the trophy today. Anyway very good experience for the boys.

Done ok guys. Played 7 games against good opposition over last week or two. Won 2, drawn 1, lost 4. Conceded lots, scored lots. Good learning.

Some players really came into their own this tournament, felt like they were making their mark. Tough to lose the final but the lads can be more than proud of themselves.

Very entertaining 80 minutes of football. The pitch looked much better than before. Had a glimpse of the 3/4 playoff and it seems wet & soft again.

Yeah Shaqueel is still there but I believe he missed this tournament because of an injury.
I’m hoping that we can carry on sharing the goals out too. Without a regular scoring 9 this will help next season. So will better pitches!

I had hoped we would move for son and father together, wishful thinking maybe.

You lot on here shot yourselves getting rid of Beaucoup who at least knew lots of inside info regardless of his alleged allegiance and now you’re getting into this big sid guy. Missed a chance to have bragging rights.
Keep it a diverse open forum, you might learn from some that know what really goes on.
Successful tournament, Dutch sides are always competitive from very young age and level of coach clearly very high in RVP.

Dinamo’s Vito Čaić scored 5 goals and was the top goalscorer of the tournament. Scored all three goals in the 3/4 playoff. Not bad for a DM.

Feyenoord full-back Givairo Read was named Player of the Tournament.

Elyh Harrison got the Goalkeeper of the Tournament award.

Beaucoup left of his own accord after having a strop about a tweet and Bigsid is a City fan who pretends to be a United fan but constantly shits on the academy. No one would care about Bigsid if he just admitted to being a City fan but he keeps up the charade, the forum is open to opposition fans as long as they aren’t complete dicks so get off your high horse.

Actually worried if Munro got injured. He did really well during the week and could be a key player this season for us at U18s level as Jackson probably will move in between the two age groups. Hope Lacey can recover on times as well as we obviously need his creativity and difference making.

Wasn’t on high horse, just think his inside info. Was a useful addition to all the opinion based on limited available info. Clearly had worked in the game or had a boy in the system, because he used to drop in some good exclusives. Keep your enemies close as they say.

No one made him leave, he left of his own accord after a weird reaction to a Tweet about Shea Lacey.
