Good game this. Players seem to be enjoying what looks like a bigger pitch than at Altrincham.

Apparently the power is out for the whole area, so it's not a problem at the stadium.

How quick are the utilities in Salford? I would be surprised if it's fixed in time, unless it's a really simple problem.

We had a rainbow over the stadium earlier, but we'll be lucky if the first game here doesn't require a replay.

Also the U21 Liverpool game has been postponed, and as of yet isn't rescheduled.

Apparently a decision will be made in 10 minutes, suggesting the game will be abandoned if the lights aren't on by then.

Spurs outplayed United in the first 20 minutes or so, but from there on United were dominant and had three good chances. We're a bit unlucky that none of our chances lead to goals, but we have to be happy with not conceding a goal.

Lights! Looks like there might be another 45 after all.

Nope, 40th minute. Played the final 5 in semi-darkness.

Lovely from Lingard there. Not much more Januzaj could have done to beat the keeper. Possibly could have gone round him, but the angle would have got very narrow.

Tunnicliffe follows up a ball that was nicked away from him outside the box and manages to get a touch to it before the keeper can get to it, 1-0 United!

2 intelligent bits of play by Lingard in quick succession there.

It must have been one hell of a half-time teamtalk from Joyce!

That's one weird way of pronouncing Liam Priestley.

Great pass by Januzaj, Cole should have done better.

I think we have played really well after first 20 mins - as well as the usual suspects special mention to Ekangamene who has really played well last few matches and Cole who is looking more his old self. Spurs are very lucky we are not 2 or 3 goals ahead.

The really encouraging thing is that Spurs are still playing well. We're simply playing even better.

EDIT: That said, if we don't get the second goal that we richly deserve, this could easily go sour.
