Athen - Bayern still 0-0. Some decent moves, but no end product.

Is it just me or is this Bayern team pretty rubbish at the moment?

0-0 HT. That one chance where Lewandowski was through and Thiago couldn't decide between a shot on goal and a pass, so the ball simply went over the line near the post... infuriating.

Don't understand how Batshuayi never made it at Chelsea? He's miles better than Morata.

Is there another team who keep the ball so easily and do feck all with it like Bayern Munich? They're like watching us under LVG. So boring.

I came here to say the exact thing!!! They're zombie adjacent. Now that Robben and Ribery have slowed down, they cut a sorry sight.

They've scored two now It's 0-2 but still every time I try to watch one of their games I can't. Zombie sideways passing is worse to watch than parking the bus imo. At least when you park the bus you're still on the edge of your seat.

Very hard to excel with possession football without pace in the attack. With likes of Robben, Muller, Lewandowski, Ribery - Bayern don't have much pace in their attack. Gnabry doesn't have the quality & Coman is injured.

We had the same problem under Van Gaal. The system was fine but there was hardly anyone in attack who could get behind the opposition defense. The combination of Rooney, Falco & Van Persie was the worst possible to play that system. Van Gaal stupidly got rid of all our pacey players in Nani, Welbeck & Zaha in his first window and suffered because of that.

Just in case anyone missed it. I don't like Mount.

People around here underrate Gnabry due to his last days at Arsenal. He has been one of the best attackers in the Bundesliga in the last two years and his recent performances (including today) have been positive. That doesn't mean he is now already an elite winger for a team like us but he is at least as promising as a lot of other names that get thrown around when it comes to the next best thing.

Of course. You need pace to stretch the defense.

Refereeing in the Young boys game? No contact for the penalty? One of the most ridiculous free kicks edge of Valencia box before. What was that offside descison on Valencia break?

Looks more fixed than that PSG game...

You have to go easy on Young Boys, they don't have the experience :nervous:
