I wanted to go there tomorrow to get some holiday stuff. cnuts.

So apparently there is going to be a second night of this tonight then, police have been monitoring discussions of more riots on social network sites

Apparently, the bullet lodged in the radio of the officer was police issue.

Guardian said:
7.35pm: Initial ballistics tests on the bullet that lodged in a police officer's radio when Mark Duggan died on Thursday night show it was a police issue bullet, the Guardian understands.

The Guardian's crime correspondent, Sandra Laville, reports:

" The revelation will fuel the fury in Tottenham about the killing of Mark Duggan by armed officers.

It also undermines suggestions that there was an exchange of fire between Duggan and the police before he died.

The bullet which was found lodged in the radio of one of the officers at the scene is still undergoing forensic tests. But reliable sources have said the first ballistics examinations suggested it was a police issue bullet.

These are very distinct as the Metropolitan Police uses dum dum type hollowed out bullets designed not to pass through an object.

The early suggestion from the IPCC was that the Met officers had returned fire after someone in the minicab opened fire. But the result of the ballistics early test suggests both shots fired came from the police."

This is why I was telling Eyepopper and TheReligion to wait for the investigation before jumping to conclusions about what the police would and wouldn't do... and we should still wait for that investigation.

They broke into a jewellery store now but police reacted pretty quickly.

They're basically waiting til it gets dark I think. Probably going to get worse before it gets better but the police should be more prepared than last night.

 It's so weird seeing this. I was at that Subway on Thursday.

They got Nandos. feck sake that won't help anyone!

I was saying the same thing to my friend yesterday who was convinced the independent investigation wouldn't show up anything negative out of choice. There's no point taking up a hard stance without knowing what has actually happened.

What the most horrible thing is seeing innocent people's homes and lives literally being destroyed

People are a bit mental aren't they? What does random attacks on completely irrelevant shops and buildings have to do with anything?

Yeah keep it coming Solius, just remember, it's not about your safety, but our satisfaction.

That's right, raiding the chemists should hit the police at the very heart of their operations.

Solius get me a snap of Sneijder rioting in a United shirt mate.

I think Hectic striking at the heart of Nandos and the local chemists means that the fat and the elderly are high on the list of rioters targets.

They've kicked down a wall so they can throw bricks.

That's a really shit wall anyway. Does it even classify as a wall? Plech?

Is there a press ban on enfield or something?

The news is shit. Seriously, they're shit.

For one time in my life, just fecking once, I'd like to have the oppurtunity to do some looting.

Any estimates on how much all of this is actually going to end up costing?
