I have no idea either, yet.
That was funny, Eikrem is quite the elegtant footballer. I insulted Keith Gillespie, to his whole family, including his ma. Unknowingly.

Was an interesting game, with both sides almost playing different sports, the gulf in technique was huge to be honest, a game with that 11 v Rovers first team would be well worth watching.

Did you ask him did he have any tips?
No, my old man was chatting to the family beside me for the whole game, and when Gillespie did summat nice, I heard my aulfella say Gillespie had 'a great brain'. So I said if only he'd used it before today he mightn't have made a bollix of his career. Then my brother explained who they were.

None of them were what you'd call first team regulars, except the left back and he's only getting in the team this year because of an injury. Rovers are top of the league and it's the middle of the season so they couldn't risk their players.

Ajose was poor IMO, showed nowt but great pace chasing back.
indeed - we didn't get too much joy down his side in the first half, though he did put in a couple of crosses that could have resulted in goals.

Keane could have had a hattrick on another day. With teh finishing I have seen him display I am surprised he didn't score 2 of his chances at least.

The team will need a better performance vs Arsenal on Thursday.

Vermijl is a full back, isn't he?

Not surprised to hear that Eikrem and Cleverley stood out in the middle, they seem to be a pair that would work well together - the playmaking ability of Eikrem with the all round hustle and bustle that is Cleverley. Cleverley will get games with the first team this year, hope Eikrem does too.

Cheers for the updates moses and Mitch.

Walter Crickmer started it all...
Apparently....Brady, Wootton, Possebona nd Vermijl all on for second half.

Dudgeon, Norwood and Ajose were three of the four to come off.

Ajose and Norwood came back on for Keane and Eikrem.

Does anyone have a spare programme or teamsheet?

The programmes were shit, put together by the Event Organisers not the clubs.

Lads did you buy your tickets on the gate?
Nope, got mine on ticketmaster. there was a ticketmaster van outside the stadium - might have been selling tickets there, didn't check myself.

Starting line up is as I listed above, with numbers.

At half time:

Vermijl came on for Ajose and played MR.
Brady came on for Dudgeon and played ML (with Fabio moving back to LB as he had swapped with Dudgeon half way through the first half)
Possebon came on for Norwood.
Wooton came on for Gill (i think it was Gill)
Devlin came on for Amos.

Towards the end of the second half, Norwood came back on for Eikrem and Ajose came back on for Keane.

Don't have a spare programe for the game, but I think the programme will be the same for all 3 games, so if you are going to the United/Arsenal game on thursday you can pick on up then, or get someone to pick one up for you.

i would be very surprised if the squad was any different to what we saw on Sunday.

I could only really see Morrison and/or Bebe being added to the squad, but I would be surprised if either were.

Anyone else getting the Leona Luas to/from the game?

Never got the red line before and there's some tasty looking stops en route.

:nervous:
