1 point from 12. How were the fans with him today?

3-1 to Sunderland. Terrible second half performance after some promise in the first. So, 1 point out of a possible first 15 for Wazza.

Another loss. They've gone from 6th to 18th.

Needs to get his missus to identify the leaks in that defence.

A disaster everybody saw coming apart from the Brum administration apparently. My old man's a blues fan, the poor sod. They specialise in this kind of needless failure.

Rooney's my all-time favorite Man Utd player but holy shit, why are people letting him manage clubs?

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
Rooney strikes me as the kind of personality that would’ve been an AMAZING assistant manager for a top level coach.

Keeping the dressing room in line, running training sessions, instilling a winning attitude and keeping harmony and morale high.

Sadly, all top players seem to shun becoming (and staying) assistants and seem to all want to be the main man…

Not a wise move in most cases as they’re not tactically adept enough to succeed in the modern game.

2-0 down at home to Stoke after half an hour. Thoughts from any Blues fans? It doesn’t seem to be going well. Sky had a stat up showing he’s taken 9 points from the last 36.

Can't believe he's still in the job. The results since he took over have been horrific.

Birmingham are only seven points from the drop zone & plummeting fast. I can't see him making it past the transfer window at this rate. The fans were happy with John Eustace and haven't taken to Rooney at all.

Bottom of the table if you only take from when he took over.

The thing is, the world and his dog knew it was going to be a disaster... who runs Birmingham these days? This guy?

That's a really good point. We don't see big name players becoming assistant managers too often. For some reason they automatically assume they're more suitable for the top job.

He's got guys like Ashley Cole, John O'Shea and Carl Robinson (managed in MLS and Australia) on the coaching staff so hilarious with that backup he can't get any results still.

Some of the games v top teams they've looked o.k in spells but 3-0 down after an hour to a mediocre Stoke team at home is not a good look.

It's pretty much a replica of Zola coming into them 7 years ago when they were comfortably top half. They only stopped up on the final day that season.

Great footballers so rarely make great managers. Even Pirlo couldn't hack it and he was a genius on the pitch.

Birmingham are at home to Bristol City today, I think Wayne will be fired if they lose this one.
I like that he wants to play an attacking football but he needs to take care of the defence first.

A drab 0-0. How many points have they got since he took over, I swear they haven’t won any games?

Still think Eustace was done over, but at the same time didn't think Rooney looked that bad on paper. The reality is that they were favourites to go down last season but Eustace had them punching above their weight and in the early days of this season. Similar kind of squad now. Rooney was punching with Derby too with their huge docking of points and transfer restrictions, even if he failed to keep them up in the end.

An unpopular appointment with the fanbase as far as I understand which is never a good thing. Very difficult to come in under such circumstances. It looks like they got the investment from the US and decided to roll with Wayne as a big name and due to his links with the USA without much other thought.

Still think he could do a decent job elsewhere but Birmngham is very much looking like the wrong club for him. Might only be a matter of time before he's gone unless they let him splurge during January and it works out.

Rooney like so many others has a vision of beautiful football but you need to put a team in place first that is capable of playing that style of football.

Have you seen his teams play? Beautiful football? He looks decades out of date.
