No doubt Spain was the best team, but there are a million reasons why they don't deserve the title.Best team won. Cant really argue with that.

I'm surprised he was still on the pitch as well after being on the receiving end of Van Bommel's horror challenge in the first few minutes.Iniesta should not even have been on the pitch when he scored actually.
He should have recieved a yellow in the first half when he was rolling around and then got up and shoved van Bommel.
And that disgraceful dive to get Wiel cautioned should have been a yellow as well.
List 100,00 of them please. No doubt Spain was the best team, but there are a million reasons why they don't deserve the title.

It's very similar to the 1990 final where the best team (Germany/Spain) came up against a resilient Argentina/Holland and squeezed past them not very satisfyingly amid a flurry of misbehaviour and bad feeling.Still a rubbish final, easily the worst of the three that I've seen.
what are you on about Bob.No doubt Spain was the best team, but there are a million reasons why they don't deserve the title.
West Germany ran out steam in 90 and only just managed to get over the line. But they were the best side in that tourno as a consequence of some brilliant football. During this WC, Spain didn't really play as well as we know they can. They were brilliant against Germany, but that's it, from what I can recall. For me, it was almost like the 94 final but with a lot of diving. It's very similar to the 1990 final where the best team (Germany/Spain) came up against a resilient Argentina/Holland and squeezed past them not very satisfyingly amid a flurry of misbehaviour and bad feeling.
