Aitor Karanka has definitely managed Watford before in an alternate universe
Was that when they started showing football in HD?Football drastically changed from 05/06 to the 06/07 season
Yeah that was the out with old in with new transition.Football drastically changed from 05/06 to the 06/07 season
Earl Barrett for Villa. Top defender. There's never been a footballer at the top level called Earl (their first name that is)
Don't post Robbie Earle because that's his surname
Yeah, I think for those reasons and also especially as a Man Utd fan the big change to our kit after it being quite similar for a few years along with the shift in the focal points of our team really made it feel the start of a new eraWas that when they started showing football in HD?
Also it was the first season Ronaldo became World class ushering in a new generation of football with Lionel messi
With Zaha looking for a move the entire time.Crystal Palace has fielded the exact same side since 2014.
Definitely felt that way watching Martial in those all black boots recentlyBlack boots make you slower. This is a fact
Wow.Yuri Zhirkov retired some time around 2012, right?... nope he started for Russia vs Turkey yesterday evening
Where's the weird feeling? So a-few of us were having a discussion; I'm going to say it was probably around 2005, and we were talking about who our current favourite player was at United (all United fans talking and there was maybe 4 or 5 of us). I can't for the life of me remember the answers but we would have had Ole, Keaneo, Ruud, an emerging Ronaldo etc.
Then one of the lads - an ex-friend now - turns around and says something along the lines of: Well my overall favourite player in the league isn't at United. Wow, controversial we all thought, who is this mystery player; is it someone like Henry, Lampard, Gerrard etc. Then boom, he hits us with it, it's none other than Joseph fecking Yobo. I mean, what?
Now don't get me wrong, Yobo was a good player and all but seriously wtf! One of the most bizarre conversations ever and still one we laugh about.
8/10 times this is trueYou can tell within about 2 minutes of a match starting if we’re going to have a shite game
That is true.Football drastically changed from 05/06 to the 06/07 season
This is extremely true. Additionally, when we get off to a great start but miss easy chances within the first ten minutes you can also tell the game won't end well. You can tell within about 2 minutes of a match starting if we’re going to have a shite game
Apart from the Spurs gameYou can tell within about 2 minutes of a match starting if we’re going to have a shite game
Every season we have our worst start in 50+ years.
I’ve noticed this one. Recently he falls down grabbing his head about four times a game.Marcus rashford always has head collision's in a match
of football?The end is nigh..
Is that a spin-off?It's always sunny when United play at Goodison Park.
Brilliant! I feel the cameras changed that year 2006-7 seems so much more modernFootball drastically changed from 05/06 to the 06/07 season
It’s true - he’s just not cut out for the acting/shithousery game. McTominay is far better in that respectI’ve noticed this one. Recently he falls down grabbing his head about four times a game.
No one has seen James McClean play because he isn't a real footballer but an Irish leprechaun who only pops up around remembrance week to rile the tabloids.
Is that a spin-off?
