I've started to watch a guy that just smokes/reviews cigarettes.

It's weird because I don't even smoke but I find his videos strangley relaxing.

I like the YouTube channel Townsends. They cover 18th century American cooking and its really wholesome. Also quite funny because half of it is stuff we still eat in the UK

I've been strangely fascinated by videos from this channel recently. They're about a man with memory loss that lives with his sons.

Are you into ASMR? Because the two may be linked.
not really, he doesn’t aim it in that direction either as it’s just a guy smoking and talking. There’s none of the whispering or sound triggers which typically come with asmr. I just randomly Stumbled on a video and thought I’d never watch him again but he pops up quite often now and I always click it. He also does quite a lot of stupid stuff and I don’t think he takes the fact that smoking is dangerous seriously which makes it even weirder that I like him.

Explore With Us. Basically the same stuff as the JCS channel, cops interrogating killers. I'm obsessed with it. The absolute stupid reasons and motives for a person taking a life, watching the holes people dig for themselves with lies, how they lie, how crap some cops are, how good some others are. Worryingly, I find myself thinking "Would I be that stupid if I killed someone?"

There is nothing wholesome about that channel. It's a brutal insight into a man with a crippling nutmeg addiction.

I've watched every episode of a series about the UKs motorways, often within a few hours of its release on a Sunday and I'm not even subscribed. Channel Auto Shenanigans. I don't even know why at this point.

Stuck down some great rabbit holes with Dennis Hoffman and podcasts and presentations regarding consciousness and reality, getting my mind inverted and loving it.

Also Terrence McKenna, loving his stuff, I'm a bit late to the party with this dude and find him fascinting.

Maybe not that weird. Just can't get enough of this show at the moment. Freakin' hilarious! I remember the UK version back in the day but this is great. Some of the improv on display is just next level.

It's probably what I'm watching most on YT right now.

Colin and Ryan together are lightning in a bottle, it's insane how they have continued to be so funny for what must now be 30ish years.

Rabbit role of watching “Deal or no deal” contestants cash out too early when they could have won loads. And then the ones who won 1p

@esmufc07 - are you applying for the new series?

Yeah it's mad when you think about it. Aisha Tyler's the perfect host too. Better than the Drew Carey days.

Camping with Steve. A nice Canadian fella who goes "stealth" camping. Could be behind a McDonalds, in some roundabout shrubbery, behind a clothes bank, in a van at the side of the road and sometimes just regular camping. Sometimes a nice old eccentric looking guy called Crazy Neighbour comes along.

I don't know why I watch them. There's no "risk" to him getting caught, the most anyone would ask is; "What are you doing?" but it's a pleasant watch.

Watched him for years, seems such a nice guy too. He lost his wife not too long ago but seems to be back doing his stealth camping regularly again.

Never seen that but any time I hear of Youtube whiskey reviews I think of that famous video where a guy is reviewing whiskey while his wife is packing up her stuff and leaving him in the background.

That is some tragic comedy.

I was randomly checking out isolated drums on classic rock tracks and was astounded by the number of amazing young female drummers out there. This gal is just fantastic...

The spooky/ghost/scary story genre. One guy in particular called Mr Ballen. Could listen to him all day.

My brain can't get pregnant!

I’ve always been a sucker for fishing vids but my latest favourite niche is this extremely chill Japanese lad, who makes sushi at the end of each video. Pure ninja with the landing net too.

@langster and @moses will enjoy this.

Wow. That was amazing. You're right, he's decent with the net and his first net shot was ridiculous, definitely ninja material.Beautiful location too, absolutely stunning. I thought he had emigrated and he was in Australia at first, especially as the three fish he caught were typical Aussie favourites,. It wasn't until I read the comments I found out he was in fact in Japan. Thanks so much for posting that, I'm going to watch some more of his videos now, and if you excuse the fecking awful pun, I'm hooked.

 Keep an eye out for the one where he uses sea urchins as bait. Who knew?!?

Do you watch Andy’s fish and cook? Always watch him, going to put an episode on now.

I’m current in Sydney and about to do a 5 week trip down the east coast of Australia and bought myself a nice little set up for fishing. Only problem is I don’t like fish so I put them back and if I camp I’ll eat a burger.

AHH, I don't agree with sport fishing but that's a discussion for a different thread.

If you are in Oz, check out Rex Hunt's Fishing Adventures. He's a very controversial chap to many (for more than a few reasons) but his programmes (shot all around the world, but mainly in Australia) were amazing and each show featured not only.Rex and mates catching loads.of different species and how and where to do so, but also a chef showing how to cook and prepare them. It's especially useful for Australia as there's so many different species and types of angling methods to catch them all.

It showed some really interesting methods including traditional aboriginal methods of cooking too. Burying hot coals under the sand and wrapping fish in banana leaves on top of the coals then covering with sand for an hour or two before digging it back up etc.

Used to watch Rex Hunt when I was at college. Wasn’t he the yibbidy yibbida guy

Yeah he was. Ex pro Aussie Rules footballer who won a fair bit in his career and then went on to be a sports commentator. That yibbida yibbida catch phrase had me in stitches for years. Also how he kissed each fish before returning them  Although I still use some of his angling techniques to this day. A single red bead above your hook when float fishing or just freelining live bait is something that has always yielded me with great results, especially when bass fishing. (In the sea, I'm not in to puddle dipping and maggot drowning)

I've read his books, both fishing and autobiographical. A very interesting chap but as I said, had a lot of controversy too. Some poor racial slurs used, arrested on a plane while smashed and after he nearly shit himself and someone took his trousers  He also smacked a 12 year old girl in the face by accident during a brawl involving him and his son and a few other people at a bar. Loads of affairs and other drunken incidents and bad taste or outdated comments and opinions pretty much ended his career and I'm sure at one point nearly cost him everything he had built and earned during his successful careers in sports/commentating and then as a TV fishing show host.

Thanks for the recommendation. Will check it out. That trip sounds amazing. Be sure to check out Byron Bay and Frasier Island.

I watched every single episode of RHFA. Didn’t know about all that controversy though. Why do all our heroes have feet of clay?! :(
