It’s always been possible. Weeks ago we had so many people in here claiming that the season was over, top four was impossible- like both arsenal and spurs don’t have a long history or bottling it, they’ve both been inconsistent all season but they string a couple of wins together whilst we’re struggling and the season is over? Get a fecking grip.

If by some miracle we beat Liverpool, I think we'll get 4th. If we lose to Liverpool, which is almost certain, it's over.

Brentford (A)Arsenal (A)Manchester United (H)Chelsea (A)
Leicester (H)Brentford (H)West Ham United (A)Arsenal (H)

Arsenal (H)-Tottenham (A)-
Burnley (H)Chelsea (H)Newcastle United (H)Manchester City (H)
Norwich (A)Crystal Palace (A)Everton (H)Brighton (A)

Arsenal are yet to play against all three clubs from 4-7 places, and for each of those teams it's only Arsenal.

Both Uniteds have two games against teams from top three, with Tottenham and Arsenal only one.

It's still all in Arsenal's hand, given their fixture list.
Not a bloody fuking chance we finish in the top 4 based on a performance like today and even more so after seeing that fixture list. we'll be lucky to take 10 points out of those 18

Spurs have a much easier run in than United...West Ham might as well. On paper i think Arsenal have the toughest run in and they are struggling to score goals right now

I think we end up in 5th and playing in the Europa league next season which is what the club deserves for how the players have performed this season

We just beat the worst team in the league by 1 goal, thanks to Ronaldo. Without him, we'd have lost
We are a wretchedly bad team and we can't expect Ronaldo to score a hattrick in every match.

Will we get top 4?
No way.

Hope you all remember about this thread when we secure Champions League qualification next month and will admit you were wrong :)

We still have a chance, as I've said before the top 4 race is usually a calamity.

The Everton defeat may have been too much though and our last two wins amongst the draws and losses have required Ronaldo hatricks. If the players had given up with the draw to Leicester well they really shouldn't have as we've seen Arsenal lose 3 times in a row since.

Today's performance to a rock bottom team outside of Ronaldo and the many hapless draws to the other bottom teams doesn't make me feel the players in general have enough to stop the goals going in and score enough if Ronaldo is not scoring or injured. Spurs/Ars seem to have a bit more threat with 2-3 players capable doing well while we have one or non.

Give him a decent manager and see him regain his form
Rashford walking around not putting in a shift. Conte would have demanded his replacement in Jan

We struggled to beat Norwich, one of the poorer teams the PL has seen and some people think 4th is possible?

We just about shaded it against a shit relegated Norwich thanks to DDG and Ronaldo.

Getting 4th will be an even bigger miracle/shock than North Macedonia beating Italy in the World Cup playoffs.

We will get no points against the scousers or chelsea or Arsenal and our goal difference will take a hammering so how the feck are we going to finish 4th?
What a fecking moronic post!

We won't finish 4th, but hopefully Arsenal won't either. They'd be unbearable. I don't care much for Spurs on the other hand, even like them to some extent thanks to Pochettino and his Spurs team from few years ago.

There's three terrible teams going for top 4.

Spurs are Spurs.

Arsenal have a fraud as a manager.

We're a shambles.

I'm pessimistic because we've got a hard run in. I'm optimistic because we've got Ronaldo.

Probably vs Liverpool
Why not vs Arsenal? They’re worse than us!
Chelsea would’ve secured 4th and may have a cup final a few days after playing us so easily there for the taking

Do you wear a blindfold when Utd are playing?

The only way we're getting 4th is if spurs and arsenal bottle it massively.

It could happen but is unlikely.

Well considering we managed 4 points vs Chelsea and Arsenal after getting spanked vs Watford 4-1 I don’t think it’s impossible that we could get something from them both with their current situation.

Who scores if Ronnie does not score and he is our only striker now?
Our defence is if not the worst in the league it is bottom 3.
We are the easiest team to play against so while I admire your optimism I still think we will be lucky to finish in the top 8.

We have no right to even be in the conversation, but we are. We're obviously not going to get anything at Anfield, so it all depends on just how bad the others are, and if todays anything to go by they are pretty bad

We don't have a functioning midfield. Hard to imagine us finishing fourth.

I'm not going to rule it out but the better bet would be us finishing fifth. But when you have three bottling sides (I rule out West Ham altogether for this discussion) bottling away points against clubs they should be hammering, the word "impossible" should be binned.

We’re surely getting top 4 if,
Ronaldo and DDG gives a 10/10 performances for rest of the matches along with a functional midfield (with Fred)

We haven’t won more than 2 matches in a row all season, so it’s hard to see us gaining any form

I didn’t realise Spurs and Arsenal still have to play each other. So that will be big if we’re still in with a realistic chance by then

Bit of a joke that we're still in it to be honest considering how awful we've been.

With the way we've played this season and that run in I can barely see us winning another game to be honest but we live in hope...

I don't think we're good enough to even get lucky at Liverpool. That one should be written off. The miracle will be getting anything from that fixture, nevermind a win.

We're going to have to beat Arsenal and Chelsea, and also produce an overall run of form we have failed to produce for the whole season. Brighton and Palace are awkward fixtures to have as well.

Very unlikely but winning today kept some hope alive, but it is currently a small percentage chance.

United:

Liverpool - away.
Arsenal - away.
Brentford - home.
Brighton - away.
Chelsea - home.
Crystal Palace - away.

I can see us getting 9- 10 points from our last 6 games. That would give us 63-64 points.

Arsenal:
Chelsea - away.
Man.Utd - home
West Ham - away
Leeds - home
Tottenham - away
Newcastle - away
Everton - home

I can see Arsenal getting 10-11 points from their last 7 games. That would give them 64-65 points.

Tottenham:
Brentford - away
Leicester - home
Liverpool - away
Arsenal - home
Burnley - home
Norwich - away

I can see Tottenham getting 10-11 points from their last 6 games. That would give them 67-68 points.

Livrerpool is a certain 3 points missed we all know this. Then we have Arsenal, Brighton, Palace, all away. We will drop points in all of those. We'll not make it but at least I hope Spurs make it and not Arsenal. The worst part is not missing out on top 4, it's the fact that we will do it when the teams we compete against have been utterly shite. It's so pathetic.
