It’s the only explanation. Snatching victory from the jaws of defeat is the Real Madrid way. I have never seen a club so this so many times and every single season.Juju

I vehemently don't believe in voodoo or juju or any of that. It’s the only explanation. Snatching victory from the jaws of defeat is the Real Madrid way. I have never seen a club so this so many times and every single season.
It's so hard to manufacture that culture and heritage but one of the big things is that people go to Real Madrid at their peak to win things. All their players arrive expecting it. It's seen as a privilege to be playing for them and everyone is fighting to stay in the team for as long as possible.Culture. There's no excuses there. Lose your best player and only striker? No problem, just convert a CM into a false 9 and deal with it.
Lose your first choice keeper? Oh well, make do and get us into another final.
Referees as always. That was a goal for Bayern at the end.
Also playing in a league where there's no worry to qualify for CL spots. That's a given.
If you do it enough times it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy - kind of like Fergie time. You could see the Bayern players shit their pants after the first because they know this story already.Neuer rolls back the years? No problem, just have him commit a grave howler in the dying minutes of the game.
This club's got juju. But it's kept City and Pool from winning more CL titles so I'm satisfied.
Hope Bayer are still unbeaten when the super cup rolls aroundWe need CL Madrid vs 23/24 Leverkusen. Unstoppable force vs unmovable object.
I believe that you make your own luck as well.If you do it enough times it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy - kind of like Fergie time. You could see the Bayern players shit their pants after the first because they know this story already.
That and the culture that they built up with Mourinho, Ronaldo and Zidane. The other team might play better , but you still manage to get the win. Mentality monsters.Florentino
Good fortune? Really??Good fortune. City were better than them a couple of years ago and should have gone through to the final. City also were better than them this season. I do think they were better than Bayern tonight, but a big goalkeeping error kept them in it.
You disagree with the examples I gave? I could have said that they have this unshakeable belief that somehow gets them over the line, but they've been outplayed by City over two legs twice. Even Liverpool were the better side in the final against them two years ago.Good fortune? Really??
I mean you could make the claim that they "forced" the error from Neuer... but regardless, it's still an astonishingly low chance, they indeed get a ton of good fortune. It's hardly deniable.Good fortune? Really??
On the manager thing, Abramovich did that too, no fecks given, maybe that's the true key to the CL?1.They sacked two managers in the same season before Zidane was hired again. No BS about "needs time", "his squad" and shit. You win games or you are out.
2. They absolutely don't care how old is a player, is he academy product or what he did for the club. When player is not producing, he is off. There is no sympathy contracts or second chance there.
3. Season without winning CL or La liga is not a good season and is resulting with the sack.
4. Manager is the coach only. He works with what he gets.
5. Fans give boos to players after every defeat. You don't get applause for trying and passion there
Every single Abramovich sacking, perhaps with the exception of Ancelotti, was 100% correct. Through swift and decisive action, Chelsea during his ownership rescued so many seasons that would've otherwise been wasted. On the manager thing, Abramovich did that too, no fecks given, maybe that's the true key to the CL?
