I think a lot of people are missing perhaps the main point here - I think the OP is alluding more to transfer targets not wanting to play under Jose, given his supposed style of handling players, and also the style in which we play on the pitch. I get the feeling that's the question here, and not "what if the players we already have don't want to play for Jose?"
You have to admit that it's got to be a valid point in a player's mind when looking at United as a possible destination - I don't mean "oh no Jose plays crap football" but rather "does Jose seem like a manager who I can enjoy working with, does his system fit my natural style, would I have fun playing with those players in that team, would this move get the best out of me?"
Arguably all players have to ask themselves this before any transfer, but the media seems to like making out that they have to ask themselves EXTRA HARD before going to United or to work with Jose.
