Robbie Fowler is big in to property development and letting. He has quite a number of properties to his name, and a reported wealth of over £30m, which is pretty impressive for a player who's career fell just short of the mad amounts of money that entered the game. He sounds like a smart lad. Does loads of charity work too. Good egg.

Lee Bowyer now runs a carp fishing lake in France iirc, read an article about it a while ago.... Also just remembered that fight with Dyer, what a shambles, hilarious though.

Even though he's still playing, always impressed with Matthieu Flamini's adventure.

And struggling to find his best position either within a 2 or 3 men midfield after his record breaking deal to United.

What?
Care to explain?
From his Wiki,

Mathieu is a partner of GFBiochemicals,[26] a leading global producer of levulinic acid and derivatives. He has said[27] that “we founded GFBiochemicals with the ambition of finding sustainable alternatives to oil-based products” Levulinic acid is created from biomass[28] including grass or woodchips, and can be used in plastics, solvents, fuels and the pharmaceutical industry. Levulinic acid has been identified by the U.S Department of Energy[29] as one of the 12 molecules that can help unlock a “greener” world. In addition to GFBiochemicals’ established presence in the United States,[30] the Netherlands and headquarters in Italy, Mathieu has targeted[31] China and Brazil as potential new markets for expansion. In 2016, GFBiochemicals acquired[32] and fully controls the Segetis, the leading producer of levulinic acid derivatives, in a move towards downstream integration. Segitis was previously owned by Sabic, DSM, and Kosla Ventures, among other entities, and has invested over EUR 100 million[33] in R&D over the past decade. In 2017, GFBiochemicals announced[34] that it will build a cellulosic biorefinery in the US, in partnership with biotech company American Process. Mathieu was also part of the team that created BIOCIRCE,[35] Europe’s first master's degree dedicated to promoting bioeconomy education. It was launched in collaboration with Italian bank Intesa Sanpaolo, Novamont (a producer of bioplastics), and the Universities of Naples, Torino, Milan and Bologna. In addition, Mathieu co-founded The BioJournal,[36] the world’s first e-magazine devoted entirely to the bio world and eco-sustainability. Mathieu is also part of the environmental committee[37] for the candidature of Paris as the location for the 2024 Summer Olympics.

In 2015, Mathieu was named one of NME’s[38] People of the Year.
There's a few more articles which are more in depth though I think that are an interesting read.
