Didier Lamkel Zé. I don't think anyone else comes close.

Example; Antwerp playing against AZ in the Europa League. Antwerp down to 10 men, Lamkel Zé scores the 1-0 in the 75th minute, Antwerp would progress to the next round. Lamkel Zé takes of his jersey and shows it to the opposition fans. Second yellow, Antwerp down to 9 men, they lose 1-4

Calling opposition fans "wankers" on Instagram. Elbowed a teammate during a training session.

Wanted a transfer to Antwerp's rivals, Anderlecht. Showed up to training in an Anderlecht shirt, and was blocked from entering by security guards

There are tons of other examples.

Can ‘unhinged’ stretch to off-field stuff too? Because Al-Saadi Gaddafi isn’t being beaten if so.

Emanuel Pogatetz was a bit of a firecracker. Obvious incident is the 2 footed assault on Possebon, but that wasn't an isolated incident. He seemed to opt for a studs-up scissor tackle whenever he was beaten, and got away with so many. If he played now, VAR would be sending him off every game he played.

Can't find any footage of it, but I'm sure it was Euro 2008, he was no incensed that a throw-in was given against him, he tried to bite the ball.

All things considered, on and off the field, it's probably Joey Barton though.

Thomas Gravesen was supposed to be an absolute headcase.

Also always remember that Ketsbia (Newcastle bald guy) going insane kicking the advertising boards and ripping his top off.

Asprilla sounded colourful. Most of that columbia squad sounded a bit nuts

Not many people, never mind footballers, as unhinged as David Cotterill.

Suarez once tried to claim handball against a keeper claiming the ball in his own area.
