Lot of hypothetical threads going round at the minute...

So who's making Giggseys imaginary management team?

Keano?
Scholes?
Mulensteen?
Nevilles?
Cantona? Imagine being coached by Cantona, it'd be like a football poetry lesson mixed with a bit of kung fu. Dreamland!

Neville probably if he doesn't hang onto the Valencia job, Mulensteen and Queiroz are both good shout outs. I'd be a lot more confident giving him the job if Queiroz was around as a counterweight to Giggsy's adventurous attitude.

Not a clue... but maybe Ole wouldn't be a huge surprise as he said in that interview last week that he still talks with Giggs. I think he'd be well suited and I could envisage him on the coaching team or as a number 2.

Scholes would be a lock. Ole seems likely. Other than that it's impossible to say.

If there's one thing we can be sure of, it's not going to be Paul Scholes.

The amount of stick he's given out, he'd have to be mad or ridiculously sure of himself to get involved!

The appointment of Butt as Academy Director was another indication of Giggs not getting the job. He would have been Assistant Manager under Giggs.

Paul Ince...just so they could do that cringey celebration on the touchline whenever we scored
