Yes, and the season after we only scoredManUtd scored only 80 goals in 98-99 season (only 12 more than Leicester) and I don't think anyone would say we didn't play entertaining football that season.
17 more (a 17% increase) and yet that was a record.
Turns out 12 goals in 38 matches is quite a lot. The easy way to spot this is to compare the 09 team to the year before when we scored 80 as well. 12 goals is a pretty big change.
