Assists can be such a crazy stat sometimes, think of some of the defense splitting passes he has played only for guys to miss sitters, then you get one for 30 yard pingers and other individual play.
I love how much more aggressive he is being, using his size to just move player out of the way, adding an edge to his game that makes him a better CM.
