Remember all those years United players were booed by the Wembley crowd because it was felt that they got out of international duty with any old injury excuse? Good times.
There one ex-player doing a bit of punditry on this game that was one of the biggest culprits for dropping out of friendlies. You are right though, our players risk injury while other feign it.

It's alright saying that we need a Wilshere in the midfield, but what good is a smart midfielder if we don't operate within spaces between the lines in the first place?
English football largely shifts from flank to flank and relies more on individual improvisation than rehearsed movement.

Sané looks very motivated, creating danger in lots of situations. Could be immense for us at the WC, if he conserves this form.

It's scary how good this France side could be if they were clinical. Phenomenally wasteful and inefficient in front of goal, but ridiculously talented.

No, he is a flopper. And I loved Ravanelli.
Ahem, if he was playing for Monaco would you say the same?

Anyway lets see what Mister Santos has in the menu for the Saudis

Yeah, Mbappé and Coman are taking turns on Davies, they humiliate him but in the end can't deliver a good ball.

Just noticed Darmian has started for Italy..

What on earth are these managers seeing in him?

I really don't rate him.

Werner can't beat Pickford once more. We should have scored by now.

the system is right and no square pegs are in round holes but their football IQ is very low overall so tie open

England with a shitload of chances in those last minutes. Our squad already in the dressing room mentally.

Italy is woeful. I don't think the manager has any clue, they have more good players on the bench than in starting XI.
