Apparently his agent isn't happy Yaya Toure didn't win the player of the year award ahead of Luis Suarez. I'm not so sure Pellegrini could have done much more, it's as if he'd sooner be a premier league loser and win player of the year than a premier league winner and not.

His agent also wants Yaya to be given a long term position as ambassador or coach apparently, although I'm not sure how true this is.

Richard 'the lad' Keys giving him a cake on BeIN Sports' coverage of the Champions League final.

Apparently he wouldn't say he will be at City next season and said he will leave 'when he wants to'.

The short story on L'Equipe:
My translation: "Given Paris' objectives, how can you not be interested by such a club?" declared Yaya Touré, the City midfielder in France football on Tuesday. "PSG has become one of Europe's strongholds. It would be an honor to be part of, one day, such a club. If I can be helpful..." the Ivory Coast midfield carried on, after a prolific season (24 goals in all competitions), under contract until 2017. According to FF, Touré would be one of PSG's targets should Marco Verratti join Real Madrid.

Almost every player would be tempted by money.
I want to laugh at City but I don't find this funny.

Hope, We Lose
He has left Barca for more money

He will now leave City for more money

People shouldn't be surprised!!!!!

And his agent will get some nice money too
? You dont think leaving Barcelona had something to do with never getting a game because Busquets was given preference all season?

He's surely off if those quotes are true. He's a fantastic player and I never like to see a talent like that leave the league, but it's City. They won't be able to replace him.

Contract till 2017, just spent £40/50 million on David Luiz: how much could he even go for to PSG? Don't see it happening this season at all.

If we do sell him, PSG is where I hope he ends up. Anywhere else and the fee would be too sensible to replace him sufficiently.

I'd tell him to go a find a buyer in the next 2 weeks for £25m, or £40m at PSG, and he can leave, otherwise he's stuck at City next season.

He'd probably soon realise nobody wants to buy a 31 year old.

How are the City fans handling all this?
Most I've spoken to would rather sell him, purely because of his age. His stock will never be higher, and we'll have to replace him very soon anyway.

The general feeling is that he's one injury or one bad season from being done at the top level, which I'd agree with.

To your left.
I know I'm supposed to be happy because he's leaving City but I'm more annoyed at how PSG are buying players for fun.

This is absolutely hilarious. A grown-as$ man throwing a fit about no one celebrating his birthday! Only Yaya Toure and Third World dictators would care about commemorating a birthday after their 21st.

A perfect modern footballer isn't he? Does the job on the field, gets transferred for big fees eventually. He'll be stinking rich by the time he retires, and with honours and trophies not many players can boast of. It's the best of both worlds.
